Bill’s star looks unrecognizable when he makes a cameo in The Witcher… but can you guess who he is?

A legend from the popular police drama The Bill made an unexpected cameo in The Witcher, leaving viewers in awe.

Andrew Paul played PC Dave Quinnan on the ITV series for 13 years, but he looked surprisingly different when he made a brief appearance on the Netflix fantasy show.

The 61-year-old actor looked very different from his days as a police officer when he sported a dark cape and black hat as he appeared onstage holding a flashlight.

Instead of investigating crimes, Andrew played a dealer named Colin Coppercloth who was looking for lodging but was sadly killed by a mysterious creature.

His brief appearance on the show, starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, lasted only a few seconds… but did you spot the popular soap opera actor in the scene?

Who is it? A legend from the popular police drama The Bill made an unexpected cameo in The Witcher, leaving viewers in awe.

The cameo appeared in The Witcher’s second season debut episode, and host Dan Walker appeared to have caught up on the series this week.

The newscaster, 45, took to Twitter on Thursday night to describe Andrew’s appearance in The Witcher as “random.”

He wrote: “Can anyone beat PC Dave Quinnan from The Bill who appears in The Witcher season 2 (and lasts about 20 seconds) for a more random cameo?”

Andrew seemed to see the funny side as he responded to the tweet, saying, “That was 20 seconds of pure quality Dan!!”

Andrew is best known to fans for starring on The Bill for 13 years before his departure in 2002, just years before the show’s final episode in August 2010.

He then made a brief appearance on EastEnders as Maxwell Moon, Alfie Moon’s second cousin.

The star also landed a role on the ITV drama Where the Heart Is and also had guest roles on the soaps Casualty and Doctors.

The Witcher has earned a huge following, but Henry Cavill will not be returning in the lead role for season four after Liam Hemsworth replaced him.

Henry originally held the role for three seasons before announcing his departure in October. The third series of The Witcher will premiere in the summer of 2023.

In October, Liam, 32, revealed he was “over the moon about the chance” to play the monster-hunting lead on the TV show.

“I’m honored that he’s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the blades of the White Wolf for the next chapter of his adventure,” the Hunger Games actor added.

He concluded: ‘Henry, I’ve been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. He may have some big boots to fill, but I’m really excited to step into the world of The Witcher.

However, it was later revealed that Henry was fired from Superman, leading to speculation that he might return to The Witcher.

But Variety reported that the show’s fourth season will continue moving forward as originally planned with Liam starring in the series.

Henry recently had a cameo appearance as Superman at the end of Warner Bros. Black Adam, sparking a showdown between Superman and Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.

That happened just days before James Gunn and Peter Safran were hired as the new heads at DC Films.

“I just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and this is sad news for everyone. After all, I won’t be coming back as Superman,” Henry announced on Instagram.

‘The changing of the guard is something that happens. I respect that. James and Peter have a universe to build,” she added.

“I wish them and everyone involved in the new universe the best of luck and the happiest of fortunes,” he added.
