Buffalo Bills superstar quarterback Josh Allen has spoken out about the situation when Stefon Diggs missed a day of training during off-season workouts earlier this summer.

‘I love him. That’s my man,” Allen said during a recent appearance on the Podcast ‘Bussin’ With The Boys’.

“The media has so far blown this out of proportion. Like we are in rookie camp or mini camp. We don’t play a game for four months. He doesn’t show up for a day.’

“He’s still here, you know, the coach asked him to go home. We were in talks and discussions trying to sort out some things and it was nothing major.

And the media blew it up. They’re still talking about it. Let it go. There’s no reason to keep talking about it. The next day he is on the field with us. It wasn’t bad.’

Diggs missed a practice day during the off-season, but returned to the field the next day

Head coach Sean McDermott said he believed the situation was resolved when Diggs returned

Diggs was scheduled to return for practice the next day and head coach Sean McDermott said he considered the matter resolved.

In recent years, Digg’s relationship with the team has come into question due to his visibly angry reactions to their inability to perform in the playoffs year after year.

He has repeatedly been Buffalo’s star and main target for Allen, during his rise to be regarded as one of the game’s top signal callers.

Last season, Allen recorded 4,283 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also gained 762 yards and seven TDS by rushing the ball.

1,429 yards and 11 TDS came straight from throwing to Diggs, who also recorded 108 receptions last season.
