Billionaire Reid Hoffman spent the night on Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘pedophile island’ AFTER his conviction

Billionaire Reid Hoffman visited the private Caribbean island of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein after he was convicted of sex crimes — and asked the pedophile billionaire to help raise money for MIT.

The LinkedIn co-founder and Democrat mega-donor, 55, once went to Little St. James — dubbed “pedophile island” — according to the Wall Street JournalI.

Epstein allegedly used the $125 million estate to abuse underage girls alongside Ghislaine Maxwell and was convicted in 2008 of soliciting a child for sex.

Hoffman traveled to the island with Joi Ito, then MIT Media Lab director, who had asked Hoffman and Epstein to raise money for MIT.

Documents also show that director Woody Allen attended dozens of dinner parties with his wife at Epstein’s mansion in Manhattan, while former Harvard University president Lawrence Summers asked the late pervert for help in raising money.

In an email to The Wall Street Journal, Ito confirmed that Hoffman visited the island, with other documents showing he planned to stay at Epstein’s infamous mansion in Manhattan in 2014, though it didn’t happen.

Ito said in an email, “At my request, Reid attended a few fundraising events, including a trip to Little St. James, after I confirmed to Reid that Mr. Epstein was an approved donor target for MIT in accordance with the rules and university regulations. .’

Both Ito and Hoffman planned to visit the island again in November 2014, before traveling with Epstein from Palm Beach to the island and then to Boston.

Epstein did own a mansion in Florida, and while the purpose of the trip has not been confirmed, he has been accused of assaulting underage girls and young women on the property.

Hoffman subsequently apologized for meeting the convicted sex offender, telling the Journal, “While I relied on MIT’s endorsement, I ultimately made the mistake, and I’m sorry for my personal misjudgment.”

He also reportedly planned to spend the night at Epstein’s mansion in December 2014, before planning to attend a “breakfast party” with Epstein and Bill Gates.

Hoffman, who is worth $2 billion, says his last interaction with Epstein was in 2015 when he invited Epstein to dinner in Palo Alto.

The billionaire added: “It nags me that by lending my association I helped his reputation and thus delayed justice for his survivors.”

Documents also revealed that former Harvard University president Lawrence Summers (left) asked Epstein for $1 million to fund an online poetry project for his wife

Ito lived out of his position at MIT after EPstein’s 2019 arrest and apologized for taking money from him — with the university donating $85,000 to nonprofits for sexual abuse survivors.

Epstein’s mansion in Manhattan was sold in 2021 for $50 million, with the money going to his victim’s compensation fund.

The Caribbean Islands have since been bought by billionaire Stephen Deckoff for $60 million – less than half of their original asking price of $125 million.

Documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal also show that former Harvard University president Lawrence Summers asked Epstein for $1 million to fund an online poetry project for his wife.

Emails between the pair show them discussing the details in 2014, with Epstein suggesting they meet in Cambridge for dinner.

In 2016, a nonprofit affiliated with Epstein donated $110,000 to Summers’ wife’s nonprofit, which, according to tax records, develops video content about poetry.

Oscar-winning film director Woody Allen attended dozens of dinners with his wife, Soon-Yi Previn, at Epstein’s mansion and invited him to film screenings

According to the Journal, Oscar-winning film director Woody Allen attended dozens of dinners with his wife, Soon-Yi Previn, at Epstein’s mansion and invited him to movie screenings.

They reportedly met almost every month in 2014 and 2015, and also visited artist Jeff Koons’ studio in 2013 and Sotheby’s auction house in 2017.

A spokesperson for Allen and his wife, Soon-Yi, said: “Woody and Soon-Yi lived in the same neighborhood as Epstein and were regularly invited to dinners at his mansion.

The pair would have been such regulars that Epstein’s staff knew to prepare a special flourless chocolate cake for Allen.

Soon-Yi is the adopted daughter of Allen’s movie star ex-wife, Mia Farrow. She and Allen married in Venice in late 1997, when Allen was 61 and she was 26.

Allen was accused of molesting his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow, but denied that claim and no criminal charges were ever brought against him.

“There were always other guests at those gatherings. Woody never had a business meeting with Epstein or spent time with him without Soon-Yi also being present.”
