He finally moved into his £1.4m Essex mansion after three years of renovations and bickering with neighbours.

And just a few months later, Billie Shepherd revealed that the home she shares with her husband Greg and their kids is “finally starting to feel complete.”

The Mummy Diaries star, 33, gave fans a taste of the overhaul when she shared a clip from outside on Instagram on Saturday.

The couple, who are parents to Nelly, eight, Arthur, five and Margot, 2 months, have been busy renovating the 1920s-era four-bed property they bought in January 2021.

In the clip, Billie posed for a photo with Greg and showed a before and after of the Brentwood property.

Hard work: Billie Shepherd, 33, has revealed that the house she shares with her husband Greg and their children is “finally starting to feel complete”

Before! The couple, who are parents to Nelly, eight, Arthur, five and Margot, 2 months, have been busy renovating the 1920s-era four-bed property they bought in January 2021.

Billie took a short video to show off the new white front and landscaped driveway.

She wrote: ‘How it started Vs. How it goes. Our home is finally beginning to feel complete. The @vubaresinproducts team worked very hard to give us the perfect entry and we are very happy with it!

It has made the biggest difference!! It is completely transparent and easy to maintain. @vubaresinproducts is a manufacturer and supplier of resin-bonded products and we couldn’t be happier with the service provided.

The couple had planned to create a five-bed house with a two-story extension, gym, game room and a huge Kardashian-esque walk-in closet, but permission was denied amid a dispute with neighbors.

Local residents had said that the works were ‘‘excessive’ and not in keeping with other properties on the street, but updated plans were later approved. Your new home has a pool, jacuzzi and fire pit.

They purchased the Brentwood property in January 2021 and have spent the last 19 months drastically renovating it, but were reportedly “at war” with their neighbors over ongoing renovations.

Last year, Billie admitted she won’t talk to the neighbors after they objected to the couple’s plans to demolish the original dilapidated house and replace it with a five-bedroom palace.

No bridges have been built since they got planning permission in August 2020 and Billie said: ‘We haven’t seen anyone. But not a great start, is it?

She added: ‘The house is so old that whoever was going to buy it would have to renovate it.

“There’s only one neighbor next to us and he had a lot of reasons why he didn’t want us to move on, but it was getting a bit silly in the end.” It’s been a long journey already and it’s about to get even more pressured once the builders start work.’

In July, Billie and Greg couldn’t hide their upset after learning that their dream home renovations were delayed by 24 weeks.

In scenes that aired during an episode of The Family Diaries, the couple were told the workers couldn’t proceed with development until they “start making decisions” about the interior.

During a tour of the property, Billie and Greg were greeted by their project manager, Lee, who revealed that the renovation team was unable to proceed with work on the house until they received guidance.

Greg explained: ‘There’s no one working because we haven’t been giving them decisions.

“This is internal and he needs to be a bit more aware, and he’s waiting for information from you,” before turning to Billie.

Looking at the remaining steps in the renovations, Lee told the couple: “Basically the kitchen, the utilities, everything we’re going to do and the stairs, and then we can put everything back in place and call in the plasters.” .
