Finneas has revealed the one food Australians make better than any other country as he prepares to return Down Under for his 2025 tour.
The record producer, 27, whose full name is Finneas Baird O’Connell, kicks off his solo tour in January and has shared his excitement about returning to Australia.
Promoting his tour on The Project, Finneas talked about how he insisted he start his tour Down Under because he loves so many things about Australia.
‘When we were planning the touring year, I thought ‘can we start in Australia?’ because I love it there so much and it’s the time of year I prefer to be in Australia,” he said.
Billie Eilish’s older brother also revealed the one surprising food he thinks Australians make better than any other country in the world: poached eggs.
‘You also poach an egg, you poach an egg like it’s nobody’s business! In the United States we don’t understand poached eggs the way you do, it’s an Australian expertise,” he said.

Like many others, he also praised Australian coffee, insisting its quality is far superior to anything he can find in the United States.
He added: “In Australia you do something they don’t do enough in America, which is you put a slice of orange or orange peel or rind in an Americano, which is just super stylish and super delicious.”
Although Finneas is looking forward to his own solo tour, he admitted that leaving behind his younger sister Billie, 23, was “bittersweet.”
Finneas has accompanied Billie on most of her headlining tours, but has decided not to join her on her ongoing Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour due to his own plans.
“It was very bittersweet. I decided to do it on my own because I knew I couldn’t be in two places at once,” he told Jake Shane on the radio. Therapuss podcast.
“I can’t do my own tours and her tour at the same time, and I don’t want to stop her from touring as much as she wants.”
Nevertheless, Finneas praised her “great” concert tour and said his absence did not detract from the show.
On previous tours, Finneas – who famously produces and writes music with Billie – played the electric guitar and drums for his sister.

“And the cool thing is I’ve seen the show a few times and it’s great,” he said.
‘I think her show is incredible. It doesn’t suffer at all because I’m not there.’
Finneas kicks off his solo tour, titled For Cryin’ Out Loud!, in New Zealand on January 7 with a performance in Auckland before flying to Australia.
He will take to the stage at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on January 9, before performing at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion just two days later.
He concludes the Australian leg of the tour with two shows in Melbourne, where he will take the stage at the Forum Theater on January 13 and 14.
Finneas then flies back to the United States to continue his tour with stops in Chicago, Nashville, Detroit and Los Angeles before embarking on his European leg.
The show concludes on May 9 in Cologne, Germany, and has already received rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
