Billie Eilish and beau Jesse Rutherford keep low profile at Coachella after Labrinth performance

Billie Eilish and boyfriend Jesse Rutherford made an appearance Sunday on day three of the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.

The couple, who have reportedly known each other for around six years before sparking off their romance last October, were spotted walking the grounds checking out the various stages.

The 21-year-old singer-songwriter Happier Than Ever chose to step out in black shorts with a matching NWA T-shirt and leather combat boots.

Seemingly hoping to maintain some semblance of anonymity, the pop star also wore a black and white baseball cap over her long dark locks and dark sunglasses.

At certain times of the afternoon, she also put a black fleece over her head, either to protect her from the blazing sun when the temperature rose into the 80s Fahrenheit, or to hide her identity even more.

Rutherford, the lead singer of alternative rock band The Neighborhood, stepped into the festival in camo pants, a black cropped T-shirt, matching sneakers and a baseball cap over his short hair.

Eilish seemed to be in high spirits, judging by the big, beaming smile on her face, as she listened to all the music made up of over 150 performers on six stages.

Last night, the My Boy star was a surprise guest for Labrinth’s (Timothy Lee McKenzie) set Saturday night, where they performed their recent collaborative single Never Felt So Alone, according to Pitchfork.

Never Felt So Alone, which was co-produced by Eilish’s brother and collaborator, Finneas, only came out last week after premiering on Euphoria, the hit HBO drama series musically scored by Labrinth.

Labrinth and Eilish performed the song last December at one of Eilish’s concerts at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Last year, the Los Angeles native headlined two weekends of Coachella, two months after kicking off her Happier Than Ever World Tour, which has five concerts left in August.

The studio album Happier Than Ever was released in July 2021, and since then she and her brother have had a few music drops, including the release of Guitar Songs EP in July 2020, which featured two new songs TV and The 30th.

Eilish first met Rutherford and has known each other for about five years when she was about 16 years old. They would decide to transition the relationship into a romance last fall, as reported by Elle.

They were photographed making out together in October 2022, then officially took to Instagram on Halloween. They used the spooky holiday to mock the people who were critical of their 10-year age difference.

Rutherford dressed up as an old man, while Eilish was all made up as a baby.

“Life is craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazazy Happy Halloween,” she captioned the Halloween post.

They were seen together several times around that same week, including at least one dinner date.

Wrapped together in a blanket and decked out in Gucci pajamas, Eilish and Rutherford made their event debut on November 5, 2022 at the 11th Annual LACMA Art + Film Gala.
