Bill Gates pours $50 MILLION into the presidential election to back Kamala Harris

Bill Gates joins his ex-wife and other mega-rich names like Mark Cuban in pumping tens of millions of dollars into Kamala Harris’ campaign.

Harris has repeatedly bragged about the generosity she has received from donations, amounting to $222 million in September alone, according to Forbesand more than $1 billion since her campaign began.

Trump has responded with support from the likes of Elon Musk, who has given tens of millions of his own money to PACs supporting Trump and is now handing out $1 million checks to registered voters.

Now it has been leaked that Gates has donated $50 million to a non-profit organization that supports the vice president.

Gates, like his ex-wife Melinda, largely avoided partisan politics while running the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Melinda told her earlier this month split from Gates and their vast philanthropic undertakings led her to speak out on political issues – while their children are developing into major players in Democratic politics.

According to one New York Times In the report, Gates worries about Trump’s impact on family planning and global health programs, although he believes he can work with both candidates.

Despite having few personal ties to Harris, he appreciates the Biden-Harris administration’s work on climate change.

The donation will never be seen in a public filing because it was given to Future Forward, a 501(c)(4) “dark money” group.

Gates discussed his donation with former New York mayor and billionaire Mike Bloomberg, who is considering a similar gift.

Ex-wife Melinda has done so publicly announced her intention to vote and raise money – currently to the tune of more than $13 million – for Harris, along with her activist children.

It’s a stark contrast to 2016, when she said in an interview that she and her husband are “keeping private who we vote for” ahead of Hillary Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump.

When asked how much donations would go to the Liberals this cycle, she said she “wouldn’t put a number on it.”

Melinda French Gates’ (pictured with Michelle Obama) divorce from Bill Gates and their shared charities has led her to speak out on political issues such as abortion and support Kamala Harris for president

While anonymous Democrats told it New York Times they wish she had made her opinions (and money) known sooner. She’s embarking on a new era after demanding that the foundation she led appear bipartisan.

Much of the donations are inspired by two of her three children, Rory and Phoebe, who have become liberal activists and donors.

While Trump continues to enjoy Musk’s active support, many of the ultra-rich are backing his opponent.

Earlier today, it was announced that JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is privately backing Kamala Harris for president.

The CEO has reportedly not made his position public because he fears Donald Trump will retaliate against people and companies who opposed his election if he is elected next month.

Dimon, a registered Democrat, has been unusually quiet about his political leanings in recent months.

He felt trapped and hurt by being tied to the Trump agenda, according to the New York Times, and tried to backtrack on the statement, saying it reflected his respect for the Americans who voted for the former president.

Dimon was then forced to publicly deny that he had endorsed Trump earlier this month, after the presidential candidate made the false claim on his social media site Truth Social.

Mark Cuban warned Elon Musk about Donald Trump after Tesla CEO said this will be America’s ‘last election’ if Trump loses

‘Right now I don’t support anyone. I spend more time on policy. What policies do we need that can really help the world, foreign policy and domestically?,” Dimon said through a spokesperson at the time.

Privately, however, the 68-year-old has made it clear that he supports Vice President Harris.

He is also reportedly considering a role, perhaps as finance minister, in her government.

The banker, who has an estimated net worth of about $2.4 billion, has reportedly told associates that he views Trump’s denial of the 2020 election as almost a disqualifying factor.

The billionaires are feuding over Musk’s support for former President Donald Trump. Cuban, the former Dallas Mavericks owner, has thrown his support behind Kamala Harris.

Musk drew Cuban’s ire on Sunday by making the stark claim that Democrats are deliberately sending enough illegal immigrants into swing states to tip the majority in their favor.

“Very few Americans realize that if Trump is NOT elected, this will be the last election,” he wrote. “Rather than being a threat to democracy, he is the only way to save it!”

Elon Musk claimed that billionaires like Bill Gates fear a Donald Trump victory because he would release a list of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients

Cuban, who has known Trump for decades, warned Musk.

“Elon, there comes a time when you need something from Donald Trump. You will think you have earned the right to ask and receive,” Cuban wrote.

“You have been a loyal, faithful soldier to him. You have supported him politically with tens of millions of dollars. Then, when you need him most, you will discover what so many have learned before: his loyalty is only to himself.”

The Shark Tank star has said he would be willing to do “anything I can” to get Harris across the finish line in his home state of Pennsylvania.

Musk has claimed that billionaires like Bill Gates fear a Donald Trump victory because it would lead to the release of the names of associates of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Jeffrey Epstein.

The Tesla CEO, 50, made the baseless claim in an interview with Tucker Carlson on Musk’s social media app X.

“I think part of the reason why Kamala is getting so much support is because if Trump wins, that Epstein client list will become public,” Musk said.

“And some of those billionaires behind Kamala are terrified of that outcome.”

Musk named Microsoft founder Gates and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman as two of the billionaires allegedly fearful of the release of Epstein’s client list.
