Bill Gates’ daughter Jennifer is expecting her second child with her husband, Nayel Nassar, just 16 months after the couple welcomed daughter Leila.
The 28-year-old, who married Nayel, 33, in October 2021, looked every bit the doting mother as she shared the news on Instagram.
Jennifer, whose Microsoft founder father is worth a whopping $134 billion, lovingly cradled her blossoming baby bump under a flowing blue maxi dress as she held hands with daughter Leila.
She uploaded the photo alongside a simple caption that read: “Leila, promoted to big sister.”
It comes after DailyMail.com recently pictured Jennifer enjoying a healthy day out with their one-year-old at Old Salem Farm in Westchester County.

It’s been a busy 2024 so far for Jennifer, after graduating from medical school earlier this year. She is pictured with her parents and husband at her master’s graduation ceremony in 2023
Nayel shared a separate photo on his own Instagram page in which he poses in his riding clothes with his arm around Jennifer’s shoulders.
Her bump was invisible due to her choice of a black dress, but Nayel confirmed, “Baby #2 enters the chat.”
Elsewhere, Jennifer’s mother Melinda was quick to show her support when she shared the post to her own Instagram Story, along with the caption: “I’m so excited for Jennifer, Nayel and Leila.”
It’s certainly been a busy 2024 so far for Jennifer after she graduated from medical school earlier this year — with the ceremony bringing her mom and dad together for the first time in months.
Jennifer posted a photo of herself in her cap and gown on May 11 and captioned the post, “Dr. Gates, MD, MPH. I can’t believe we’ve reached this moment: a little girl’s dream of having children has come true.
‘It’s been a whirlwind of learning, exams, late nights, tears, discipline and many moments of self-doubt, but the highs have certainly outweighed the lows over the past five years.
“I am deeply grateful for this experience and indebted to my professors, mentors, friends and family for their endless support along the way.”
Her famous father quickly responded to the post, saying, “What you accomplished today – and every day leading up to it – is an amazing achievement, @jenngatesnassar.

Jennifer and Nayel, both Stanford graduates, first started dating, officially starting dating in January 2017
“I am so proud of you for completing medical school, and I can’t wait to see you take this next step into residency. Your patients will be glad to call you a doctor.”
During a recent appearance on the PedsDocTalk podcast, Jennifer opened up about her mother guilt and adjusting to life as a mother over the past year.
When she admitted feeling guilty about not being with her daughter all the time, the interviewer asked, “Why?” as Jennifer explained, “At times like now, as a new parent, I feel guilty.
“Oh god, I should make this choice for her, I should do this and I don’t, and these feelings are natural.”
She then added, “I realize that she sees that I have confidence in the choices I make and that I can acknowledge that guilt, I can acknowledge those feelings. It’s okay to be unclear.”

Leila was the first grandchild of Bill and Melinda – who went through a high-profile divorce in 2021 after 27 years of marriage.
But both put aside their differences to walk Jennifer down the aisle in October 2021 during the ceremony at her then-home in North Salem, New York — a $15.82 million, 124-acre horse ranch that was a graduation gift from her billionaire parents .
It was the Microsoft heiress’s second wedding that weekend, after tying the knot for the first time with Nayel in a private Muslim religious ceremony the night before.
The couple, who both studied at Stanford, officially started dating in January 2017.
Nayel proposed to Jennifer during a ski trip three years after they started dating. Announcing the happy news on Instagram, they both shared photos of themselves kneeling in the snow after he popped the question.
