Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick received rave reviews last night for his NFL Draft analysis on “The Pat McAfee Show,” with fans commenting that he “looks so happy.”
Belichick himself confirmed these sentiments and asked McAfee live on air if he could appear on his show every week. McAfee was immediately hooked on the idea and asked the 72-year-old if Mondays worked for him.
The six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach is unemployed for an extended period in the NFL for the first time in nearly three decades. Belichick agreed to the weekly television spot on Monday.
McAfee is filming the show from his hometown of Indianapolis and it is unclear whether Belichick will attend the show in person or appear remotely.
Fans were further pleased with the deal between McAfee and Belichick, knowing that replays of what they saw in the first round of the NFL Draft are coming this fall.

“You are a LEGEND coach. “Any chance I can be at your show in the fall” ~ Bill Belichick. EVERY Monday this fall,” McAfee said on X, with a handshake emoji.
‘I thoroughly enjoy Bill Belichick in Pat McAfee’s concept show. I just did a film analysis of Caleb Williams, which was 50/50 praise and criticism. “It’s amazing to see that during a draft every analyst says every player is the best ever,” said Jimmy Traina of Sports Illustrated.
“It will be exciting if he breaks games on Monday with no skin in the game,” said one fan on social media.
“We’re seeing a new side of Bill Belichick and I’m here for it,” said another football fan on X.
“(GOAT) coach Bill was absolutely amazing. Most insightful and (smiling) personality,” said one fan on social media. “Best Dang concept show bar none.”
