With rumors swirling about his coaching prospects, one team in particular is reportedly interested in his services: the Dallas Cowboys, who have had a lukewarm 3-3 start to the season under head coach Mike McCarthy.

But it’s not clear whether or not Belichick will try to get back into coaching — especially since his life with new girlfriend Jordon Hudson, 23, is going incredibly well; so good, we might soon hear wedding bells for the couple.

The source added: “After a year off the pitch, he’s going to have some more options, but as it stands now, he’ll be making the decision not just for himself, but with the love of his life , the way he wants her. to be happy with whatever decision he has to make based on the offers he gets.”

One of those offers could come from the Dallas Cowboys, with team owner Jerry Jones never hiding his desire for a successful team.

That could lead to him pulling the plug on McCarthy, with sources indicating Belichick is the preferred candidate for the job.

“If Jerry fires Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys’ job will be Bill’s if he wants it,” a source told DailyMail.com. “If the season continues in the current direction, Bill might get a call, but if he takes a job, he would take it for next year and not fill in anywhere this year.

The source continued, “Bill is actually leaning toward not taking the job at this point because he would have to deal with Jerry Jones. Since the Cowboys are terrible and need new direction and coach, Bill could use that as leverage to get Jerry to do things differently, but it’s not automatic that he will join the Cowboys; it is more likely that he will win. Because taking the job will cause more headaches than necessary.
