Britney Spears appeared unfazed by her ex Sam Asghari's latest swipe at their short-lived marriage in a new campaign with the eyebrow-raising tagline 'some loves last'.

While her fans flooded social media to decipher whether her ex-husband, 29, was shading the pop star in a PETA promotional video, the Grammy winner, 42, looked unbothered as she went swimming with a shirtless hunk on Wednesday .

In a video uploaded to her Instagram account, the mother of two beamed with joy as she held a cigarette while rocking a blue bikini, black fedora and oversized sunglasses.

She was hanging out with an unknown man, who her followers speculated was a co-worker named Benjamin of her longtime friend and manager Cade Hudson.

“Paradise playing with my baby,” she captioned the footage, which also showed her playing with her new dog.

The post came hours after the release of Asghari's new campaign, asking fans to adopt and not shop.

The star, who was briefly married to Spears, showed off his buff arms while holding an adorable dog in a photo that interestingly read: “Some loves last.”

Asghari walked shirtless while cuddling another precious pup.

“You can't buy love, but you can adopt it,” the photo read.

In a video accompanying the campaign, Asghari was seen playing with his dog Porsha.

Porsha is the dog that Sam previously shared with his ex-wife, but gained custody of during their divorce. The dog was originally given to 42-year-old Britney by Sam with the intention of training him to 'protect her'.

During their divorce, Britney was given custody of their Australian Shepherd named Sawyer and three smaller dogs. She recently came under fire from PETA after purchasing another dog.

“Hi, I'm Sam Asghari and we're doing a photo shoot with PETA. I bought my dog ​​and I love her,” Sam tells viewers.

'But now that I know more about the homeless animal crisis, I would never buy a dog again. Every time an animal is purchased from a pet store or breeder, an animal in a shelter loses the opportunity to find a loving home.

'There are certain things that animals teach us. It's definitely something that makes me more compassionate and makes me a better person.

“The most important thing you can do to help end the crisis is to get your animal fixed and make sure you adopt it and don't shop it.”

Sam filed for divorce from Britney in August 2023, just over a year after they tied the knot in June 2022.

Last month TMZ reported last month that Britney now has a “cordier” relationship with Sam.

Part of their easier interactions may be due to Sam feeling like he's being taken care of well enough.

According to the insiders, the aspiring actor still lives in a high-rise apartment in Los Angeles, which Britney is reportedly financing for around $10,000 a month.

The outlet reported at the time that the couple was close to finalizing a settlement for their divorce, which will reportedly yield a significant settlement for Sam.

The settlement is expected to be in the low six figures, the sources said.

Britney has hired prominent divorce attorney Laura Wasserman to handle her side of the divorce settlement.

In the early stages of negotiations, both exes would no longer speak to each other, but instead communicated exclusively through their lawyers.

Originally, Sam planned to challenge the prenuptial agreement he and Britney signed, despite Wasserman being famous for her rock-solid prenuptial agreement.

The Black Monday actor is said to be considering speaking out about his experiences during his marriage to the Toxic singer, although the current state of negotiations appears to have softened him.

While they aren't at each other's throats now, it's unclear how much communication is happening between Britney and Sam, or how much support he can be to her in the future.
