Biker bandits get shocking surprise while trying to steal woman’s phone
A dramatic video shows a Good Samaritan coming to the aid of a woman being attacked by two bandits on a motorcycle in Ecuador.
The victim was sitting in her car in the Sauces 8 neighborhood of Guayaquil on Saturday morning when the suspects drove up to her.
One of the men can be heard saying to the woman, “Give me your phone, give me your phone,” before the suspect on the bicycle takes the device away.
At that moment, another driver drove into the suspects, sending them and their bicycle flying through the air.

A motorcycle used by thieves to steal a cell phone was left wrecked on the ground in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on Saturday after a Good Samaritan rammed his vehicle into it twice to prevent two suspects from fleeing.
When one of the attackers tried to grab the motorcycle, the driver ran forward again, hitting the motorcycle and throwing the suspect to the ground.
After the thieves fled, the driver went back to check on the targeted woman.
The National Police have launched a search for the two suspects, who are still at large on Tuesday.
The incident occurred after Yuliano Salazar, a 22-year-old man with 40 percent mental capacity, ran over four suspects and killed two of them when they tried to rob him on a motorcycle.
Prosecutors charged him with manslaughter and remanded him in custody.
President Daniel Noboa issued a statement defending Salazar and criticizing the justice system for wronging the student.

“I will not be a passive witness to the laziness and incoherence of a system that persecuted a young student for defending his life and that of his comrades when he was attacked by four armed criminals,” Noboa wrote on X.
According to statistics published earlier this month by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, 182,293 criminal incidents were registered in Ecuador in the first six months of this year.
A total of 43,475 incidents of robbery were reported, 16,444 of which were in Guayas province, which is higher than in all other provinces.
A total of 10,760 of the robberies were reported in Guayaquil, the capital of Guayas.
