Bijou Phillips visits Danny Masterson in prison along with their 10-year-old daughter for the FIRST time since his 30-year sentence began as they celebrate the convicted rapist’s 48th birthday

On his 47th birthday, disgraced actor Danny Masterson was at home with his family at their luxurious $1.27 million ranch in Santa Ynez, California.

But the festivities looked a little different this year: The convicted rapist turned 48 last Wednesday at the California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo.

Despite being locked up, his estranged wife Bijou Phillips was still involved in the festivities – with the 43-year-old actress photographed visiting him in prison for the first time this weekend.

Exclusive photos from DailyMail.com show the mother-of-one arriving at the central California prison where Masterson is serving his 30-year sentence on Saturday during the prison’s weekend visiting hours.

Despite the occasion, the dress-clad Phillips, who was accompanied by her 10-year-old daughter Fianna, did not appear to be in a party mood; she looked stone-faced and resigned to her new reality as she made her way to the prison with a piece of paper in hand.

Masterson has been beaten since May when he was found guilty of two counts of forcible rape after a dramatic eight-day trial and immediately sent to jail.

In September he was sentenced to an indeterminate prison term of 30 years to life, while a devastated Phillips filed for divorce two days later, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The surprise petition came after Phillips wrote an emotional letter to the court, describing Masterson “as a wonderful father” who worked to “protect younger actors from temptation” while pleading for leniency from LA County Judge Charlaine Olmedo.

Phillips was given full custody of their daughter in October – without opposition from the rapist – and has requested that he pay her spousal support.

The mother-of-one has not been seen with her husband since fleeing the courtroom in tears after the sentencing hearing in September, and has been keeping a low profile on the family farm.

The property, which was purchased for $1.27 million in 2016, sits on 9.5 acres and has a four-bedroom main house, separate guest accommodation and a barn with space for five horses.

Phillips is the sole owner, meaning that once her divorce is finalized, the property cannot be seized and sold to fund damages claims against Masterson, who is currently in the middle of a civil suit over his alleged harassment of the women he raped and several others.

Although Phillips is in the process of divorcing the convicted rapist, he has quietly cut ties with Scientology. He left religion aside in January after Masterson was expelled from the church and declared a “suppressive person.”

If Phillips had remained a Scientologist, she and her daughter would have been barred from contact with her estranged husband.

In January, an insider with close ties to former Scientology members said Phillips did not want to cut off Masterson because of their daughter.

The source told DailyMail.com: ‘Bijou left a few weeks after finding out Danny had been named SP because he didn’t meet the church’s standards. It is never an easy decision to leave Scientology because you risk being torn apart from your family and friends who are still members.

“In Bijou’s case, she had nothing to lose and had no intention of cutting ties with Danny, per Scientology’s rules of disconnecting.”

“Bijou would never do that with her daughter, nor with her sisters and her close friends – none of whom are Scientologists.

“Chynna has been a rock for Bijou and even though she is passionate about her own religion, she would never push anything on Bijou. That’s not necessary, because she does what she says.’

Masterson arrived at the minimum-to-medium security California Men’s Colony in late February after serving six weeks at the maximum-security Corcoran State Prison, 160 miles north of Los Angeles.

Before that, he was incarcerated in the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles and then in North Kern State Prison.

Corcoran is the infamous place where Charles Manson served his sentence and was until recently home to David Turpin, the father of Perris House of Horrors.

Masterson’s new digs are closer to his former childhood home, just 65 miles southeast of San Luis Obispo, a pretty college town on California’s central coast.

But despite the lower level of security, the 48-year-old’s new cellmates are no less terrifying, including John Earnest, 24, who was given life plus 121 years in September 2021 for shooting up a San Diego synagogue in April 2019.

Lori Gilbert-Kaye, 60, was killed while three others were injured in the shooting, including the synagogue’s rabbi, Yisroel Goldstein.

Also included are the killer of California Highway Patrol officer Craig Peyer, 74, who is serving a life sentence for strangling college student Cara Knott in 1986, and pedophile Jean Pierre Wehry, 66, who was locked up for life after being caught in 2006 a To Catch A action, also had to do with Masterson. Predator sting.

Former residents include Manson Family members Bruce Davis, Tex Watson and Bobby Beausoleil, serial rapist Richard Minsky and disgraced Death Row Records boss Suge Knight.
