The woman charged with murder after the bodies of a Queensland father and young daughter were found in a burnt-out shed has been identified as a travel blogger, creator of OnlyFans and self-proclaimed ‘gypsy’.

Kristen Olsen, 24, was charged with two counts of murder and one count of arson in the deaths of Todd Mooney, 54, and Kirra Mooney, 10, on Friday.

Queensland police will allege the travel blogger deliberately started a fire that destroyed a large shed on the Mooney family property in Biggenden on December 20.

The remains of the father and daughter were found in the rubble of the shed, and police are now investigating whether they died before or after the intense fire.

Detective Chief Inspector Gary Pettiford confirmed that Olsen is the only person of interest “at this stage” of the investigation on Friday afternoon. mail informed.

He said that although he had no known link to the Mooney family, he had attended school in Biggenden, located in the North Burnett region of Queensland.

Mooney, who owns a bakery in town, had planned to marry his longtime partner, Bec Hansen, at the property the same week she died.

Ms. Hansen was working in the bakery the day the fire started, around 2:00 PM.

Olsen is believed to have made the 15-hour journey up the coast from Cairns to the town of Biggenden in December.

On November 24, he told his followers that he was “back, bigger and better than ever” and thanked them for their support over the years in a lengthy Facebook post.

The deaths of Mr. Mooney and his daughter were initially believed to be a tragic accident, however autopsy results showed detectives treated the incident as a homicide.

Before Olsen’s arrest, investigators appealed to anyone who might have seen a white Holden Barina wagon with a distinctive solar panel on its roof in the area around the time of the fire.

Divers continued to search Ban Ban Springs for clues on Friday and Inspector Pettiford revealed that some “items of interest” had been found.

“In any search we are looking for something that is not naturally there (and then) we determine if that is evidence,” he told reporters.

Detectives are still investigating the cause of the fire and a potential motive for its deliberate igniting (burned-out shed on property pictured)

Inspector Pettiford said the cause of the fire is still being investigated.

“As you can see from the damage that was done, the building was completely burned down, making our forensic examination quite difficult,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Biggenden community rally to Mrs Hansen, who was left “distraught” by the loss of her partner and daughter five days before Christmas.

Ms Olsen is expected to face Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Saturday and is expected to appear in court in Maryborough on Monday.
