‘Bigfoot’ is spotted walking through the shrubs on rural Colorado mountain as astonished train passengers record latest sighting of the mythical beast

This is the amazing moment train passengers claim to have seen Bigfoot walking through the bush on a Colorado mountain.

During a narrow-gauge train ride from Durango to Silverton on Sunday, a passenger looking for elk with her husband was distracted by a hairy creature.

Shannon Parker of Cheyenne, Wyoming was with her husband Stetson Tyler when Tyler said, “I think I saw Bigfoot.”

Another passenger named Brandon saw the pair react and decided to pull out his phone to record the mythical beast.

“The ever-elusive creature Bigfoot,” Brandon said as he took the video.

Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, has mystified people for centuries and ten years ago, it was reported that genetic testing had confirmed that Bigfoot was a human relative that appeared around 15,000 years ago

A passenger caught what everyone thought was Bigfoot crawling in the bushes of a Colorado mountain while on a train ride on October 8.

The video shows the creature walking around the hillside just before landing in a squatting position.

Soon the supposed Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, camouflages itself in the dark brown bushes around him as he moves back and forth and looks towards the steam engine train.

“He still moves?” said a passenger in the background.

“He can get up,” said another passenger.

The video then cuts to the mythical human-like creature as the train moves forward.

Parker said Newsweek that it was a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’ and that she and Tyler had never seen anything like it before.

“When we spoke to the conductor on the train, he told us he had never seen anything like this before and he himself had experienced unexplainable things while snowshoeing in those mountains,” Parker said.

The video has been shared on all social networks and has received various comments. Some people believe it was a legitimate meeting, while others think it was a scam.

Out There Colorado posted the video to their X account, and it has since racked up over 3,000 likes and over 1,000 reposts.

“They are elusive because they take off their costumes after you take your picture,” said one comment.

“My first thought was military camouflage, maybe something worn by a sniper/recon, but most likely just Bigfoot,” said one commenter.

Others simply posted comical memes and GIFs in response to the latest revelation.

In August, a video from 2015 of another Bigfoot sighting resurfaced that Josh Highcliffe, a hunter, captured.

Highcliffe posted the video to his YouTube channel, while fellow Bigfoot hunters agreed it was the best footage of the legendary creature they’d ever seen.

Footage filmed nine miles west of Tunica, Mississippi, according to Highcliffe, showed a large, broad-backed creature that resembled something like a gorilla in the background, stripping bark from a tree trunk.

The story of Bigfoot dates back to 1958 after reporter Andrew Genzoli, of the Humboldt Times, highlighted an amusing letter from a reader about loggers in northern California who had discovered mysteriously large footprints.

The revelation was soon revealed to be a hoax after Ray Wallace discovered it was a hoax in 2002.

That moment marked the birth of the mysterious creature’s name.

Ten years ago, it was reported that genetic testing had confirmed that Bigfoot was a human relative that appeared around 15,000 years ago.

The report work was done by Texas veterinarian Melba S. Ketchum.

In August, a video from 2015 of another Bigfoot site resurfaced. It was filmed nine miles west of Tunica, Mississippi, and reportedly showed a large, broad-backed creature resembling something like a gorilla in the background, stripping bark from a tree trunk.

Bigfoot hunters said the monkey, also known as Gigantopithecus blacki, is believed to still be out there, alive and well, hiding in the forests of the Pacific Northwest.

Since the creature’s discovery in 1958, thousands of people have claimed evidence of Bigfoot from California to Washington state and Utah to Mississippi.

“Our data show that the North American Sasquatch is a hybrid species, the result of males of an unknown hominin species interbreeding with Homo sapiens females,” Ketchum said in a statement.

Some researchers believe that the Sasquatch is actually an ape from Asia that wandered into North America during the Ice Age.

From California to Washington state, Utah to Mississippi, thousands of people claim to have proof of Bigfoot’s existence.
