The tiny detail that has everyone heading to Big W for new jeans: ‘I’m getting 10 pairs’
Big W fans are in ecstasy when they see the authentic Levi jeans hitting the shelves, and they cost just $79.
The iconic American jeans have been popular in Australia for decades, but this is the first time they have been offered in a budget store.
The jeans retail for $79 for men and $99 for women and include the brand’s best-selling Signature and original 501 jeans.
An Australian woman was so shocked to see Levi’s on the shelves that she shared the news on TikTok.
“Uh, excuse me, am I late or is this new,” she said.
“When did Big W start selling Levi’s? For $99 they even have the 501s, which normally retail for over $150,” she said.
Others were equally shocked by the news.
“What! I’m late too,” said a woman.

“501’s for $99 is insane,” said another woman.
“OMG I was at Big W today and didn’t even look in the clothing aisle,” said a third.
A young Australian woman was disappointed to miss out on the deal, as she had already paid $159.99 for her Levi’s jeans on Levi’s official Australian website.
Fans of the old-school label can choose from light blue, dark blue and black denim, available in women’s sizes 26-31.
The Levi’s jeans are available in both the classic straight leg and the skinny leg.
Some people were not impressed with the price, feeling that $99 for a pair of jeans was simply too much in the current financial climate.
“I think that’s still too much of a good thing for my blood,” one said.
Others felt that Levi’s has changed over the years.

“Levi’s is poor quality and that doesn’t surprise me,” one woman said.
It’s not the first time that Big W has surprised fans by stocking more expensive labels.
People were quick to share their favourites from the budget retailer’s designer fashion brand.
“They also have Adidas clothes,” said one woman.
“Girl, Big W online recently had Gucci bags,” said another.
Others had also seen Nike, Puma, Birkenstock and Under Armour selling online at Big W.
“Big W is where brands go under,” one man joked.
Big W told FEMAIL that the range will be available in-store and online for a limited time.
