Big problem in bikie family as John Fahey patches over to the Hells Angels
Blood may be thicker than water, but employees of two motorcycle brothers may wonder if it goes deeper than ink.
The news that former Bandidos national president Jason Fahey has joined the Hells Angels could complicate family matters for the infamous biker.
Fahey’s older brother John was a longtime Bandidos national sergeant-at-arms and is still heavily scarred with that club’s tattoos, though he also has Hells Angels links.
John, who referred to himself as “menice2society” on social media, has his old gang’s name printed on his left arm and stomach, as well as BFFB (Bandidos Forever Forever Bandidos) on his chest.
Club tattoos are serious business in outlaw biker gangs, with departing members expected to cover them up if they don’t want the tags forcibly removed.

John’s current status, if any, within the motorcycle world is unclear, but he was photographed shirtless two years ago with Jason in Sydney Harbor showing off his Bandidos ink.
The Fahey brothers grew up in public housing in Telopea in northwestern Sydney and attended Cumberland High School, where John played in rugby and basketball. He was offered a contract to play league games with the Parramatta Eels.
A father of four, John has a daughter with Allaina Vader, who became the partner of former Hells Angel and Finks member Ben ‘Notorious’ Geppert.
The two bikies and Vader got involved in a public spat over John’s daughter in 2019, the same year Geppert said he left gangster life to become a tradition.
The Daily Telegraph reported on Monday that Jason Fahey had left the Bandidos to take on a more senior role with the Hells Angels as the club expanded aggressively in Sydney.

Some observers found it hard to believe that Jason had switched allegiances when he posted an image of himself arm-in-arm with senior Hells Angels on Instagram.
A shocked response was ‘you went to HA????’.
Another commenter thought otherwise: “Cuzn. About time. welcome to the biggest and best MC in the world.’
The Hells Angels recently opened a ‘Bayside’ chapter in Brighton Le-Sands in southern Sydney, which has traditionally been a Comanchero stronghold.
The latest gang is in disarray with leaders Mark Buddle, Allan Meehan, Mick Murray and Tarek Zahed behind bars awaiting trial for various alleged crimes.
Police and underworld figures are expecting more bikers to join the Hells Angels following a division of the rebels in the mass defection in Western Sydney.
In 2013, it was reported that John had defected to the Hells Angels after being a member of the Bandidos for 15 years. His former clubmates had set up an Instagram page to belittle him.

At the time, John lived on the Gold Coast and Jason was already the National President of Bandidos.
In 2014, John said he ‘realized his life was at a crossroads’, had left the Bandidos and wanted to focus on coaching rugby league.
He had even written to super coach Wayne Bennett asking for advice on how to achieve his new goal of guiding football players.
Evidence presented at trial in January of that year suggested that John had moved to the Hells Angels after resigning from his former club in July 2013.

In 2016, John was arrested following a brawl in a pub at the Family Inn in Rydalmere in western Sydney.
Three years later, he complained that NSW Police’s gang-destroying Strike Force Raptor had prevented him from visiting several licensed locations and shopping at Aldi.
“Gang squad keep it up guys,” Fahey wrote, sharing a photo of an “official warning” for habitually dealing with convicted offenders.
“Good to see that when guys are no longer bikers and have moved on in life, you’re still trying to fuck them.”
