Big night Bec? Rebecca Judd reveals the telltale sign you’ve had ‘a great time’ the night before – after attending reality star’s 40th in skin-tight ski suit

Rebecca Judd revealed how Melbourne socialites rate a night out.

The 41-year-old businesswoman and influencer attended girlfriend Emma Lowe’s extravagant 40th birthday party at Yugen Dining in South Yarra on Saturday night, after celebrating Lorinska Merrington’s 40th birthday party at a ski chalet earlier that day.

“When you find last night’s lashes in an empty coffee cup, you know you had an amazing time,” she captioned the photo of her Sunday morning moment.

In the candid photo she shared on Instagram Stories, her set of extremely long false eyelashes could be seen floating in the remains of a cappuccino at the bottom of a glass.

Bec, who lives in the affluent suburb of Brighton with her husband, AFL legend Chris Judd, attended not one but two 40th birthday parties over the weekend. It’s no wonder she was feeling under the weather by Sunday morning.

The mother of four wore a $299 strapless diamante maxi dress from Australian boutique Meshki for Emma’s party.

Bec posed for a quick mirror selfie in the eye-catching garment with friends Michelle Greene and fashion designer Effie Kats.

“Quick outfit change to end the night with a party,” Michelle, founder of JAGGAD activewear clothing, captioned the glamorous pre-party photo on her Instagram Stories.

The outfit change came after Bec pulled out all the stops for TV personality Lorinska Merrington’s ski chalet party earlier on Saturday.

The 40-year-old Yummy Mummies reality star hosted an après-ski party in South Yarra, which she compared to the French ski resort of Val d’Isère.

The Melbourne businesswoman ended her week on a lighter note after taking to her major social media platform to respond to a follower who accused her of “wanting to put kids in jail”.

Bec single-handedly fights youth crime in her affluent Melbourne suburb, posting on social media criticising the Victorian government.

In an Instagram Stories post last week, the influencer and former AFL WAG vented his anger over a 16-year-old boy who was released on bail after allegedly stealing a Mercedes from a woman with cerebral palsy and crashing into a Volvo in which a mother was picking up her children from school.

At least one of the designer’s 756,000 followers disagreed with her stance, sending her a direct message: “So you’re okay with putting children in jail?”

Bec shared the exchange on her story and responded, “No, I don’t. I think there are better ways to save these children, like preventative programs/social scaffolding etc.

“But I think it’s fine to put violent repeat offenders, who have had multiple chances, in prison,” she continued.

“You know, those people who go into people’s homes with machetes, attack them, steal their cars and run over innocent people while they’re driving? We need to keep the community safe and there’s a small group of violent repeat offenders who are causing the most problems. I’d like to see them locked up to keep the people of Victoria safe. I hope that makes sense.”

Judd had previously added a news report about the alleged incident, which took place in her Melbourne’s Bayside suburb of Brighton, to her Instagram Stories.

She further added in her caption to the post: ‘Just to be clear, if we had better preventative programs, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

“But they take time and they will not save the many families whose homes will be invaded tonight, tomorrow and the day after. We need long-term and short-term plans to deal with this crisis.”

Bec has been praised for using her platform to raise awareness of crime in the Victorian capital, but has also been criticised for complaining about her lavish lifestyle.

In May 2022, she said she felt unsafe in her multi-million dollar mansion and claimed the Victorian government “didn’t seem to care” and did nothing about violent crime in Bayside.

The mother of four said she personally knew two women who had suffered house robberies in Brighton within a few weeks. Then-Premier Daniel Andrews dismissed her comments, claiming that ‘the data would tell a different story’. He said he was ‘not interested in a discussion with Ms Judd’.

“I should point out that there are, I believe, over 70 additional police officers in the Bayside area, and the most recent crime statistics released by an independent agency do not support those comprehensive assessments of crime patterns,” Andrews said at the time.

According to the latest data from the Victorian Crime Statistics Agency, 4,385 criminal incidents were recorded in Bayside in 2023, compared to 3,756 in 2022. That’s an increase of 16.7 per cent.

The main suburbs in Bayside targeted by the attacks were Brighton, Brighton East and Hampton.

In June, Judd was applauded by Liberal MPs after he branded Melbourne “woke, broke and violent” over the authorities’ failure to tackle crime.

Brad Rowswell, the MP for Sandringham and Victoria’s Shadow Minister for Finance, told news.com.au it was wrong to discredit or disrespect Bec’s views simply because of her wealth.

“What she’s really doing is just calling it what it is. She’s saying what so many people in my community are thinking,” he told the publication.

“What she is doing is standing up for innocent victims in her community. And the government should listen to her.”

Brighton MP James Newbury agreed that she was ‘important and every member of the community should be encouraged to speak out’.
