Big Little Lies is back! Nicole Kidman reveals she’ll team with Reese Witherspoon for a THIRD season of hit HBO show… four years after second installment aired
Nicole Kidman made a big revelation about one of her favorite shows.
The 56-year-old actress said her HBO series Big Little Lies is coming back for a third season – six years after the critically acclaimed second season aired.
The announcement could explain why co-producer Reese Witherspoon was recently spotted having lunch with fellow co-stars Laura Dern and Zoe Kravitz in Los Angeles.
Nicole revealed the secret during a question and answer session at the CME Group Tour Championship Friday in Naples, Florida.
“I loved Moulin Rouge, but I loved Big Little Lies,” she said in a clip shared to Deux Moi’s Instagram Stories.

The Oscar winner looked chic in a canary yellow sleeveless dress.
Her strawberry blonde hair was styled in loose layers.
“I loved Big Little Lies because it came about at a time in my life when I had my kids and I thought I was going to retire, and then this situation happened where Reese Witherspoon and I were able to produce that show. ,” she explained.
“And then you all looked at it and made it a huge success.”
“We’re bringing you a third one, for your information,” she told the delighted audience.
It’s been almost five years since season two of the HBO crime drama dropped and ended on a cliffhanger when Zoe’s Bonnie Carlson was about to confess to pushing Nicole’s rapist husband down a flight of stairs.
Earlier this year, executive producer Bruna Papandrea talked about the show Deadline“I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately,” she said.
“I really believe that a lot of people feel the same way I do, which is at some point they’ll find a way to move on.”

Nicole just received a huge Hollywood honor.
She is a recipient of the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
The ceremony will take place on April 27 in Los Angeles.
