Reggie Bird has shared another heartbreaking message about her teenage son’s health.
The Big Brother star, 49, revealed to her fans on Tuesday that Lucas, 13, has tested positive for Covid.
By sharing a photo of two positive rapid antigen tests on her Instagram account, the star expressed her discouragement.
“Lucas,” she wrote alongside three emojis with sad faces. ‘Finally it’s hit! Faaarrrkkkkk. Did 2 tests on him.’
Several fans gathered around Reggie to show their support for her son, who also suffers from cystic fibrosis and is regularly in and out of the hospital.

‘Oh no. Hope he gets through it okay. We keep our fingers crossed for him and for you,” said one follower.
“Get well soon Lucas, stay strong,” added one.
‘No! Poor kid. For most kids, it’s mild — though scary for him, his underlying health issues. Prayers for all mama,” wrote another.
“Oh son of a bitch, that’s the last thing he needs. I hope he’s not too sick of it, Reg xx,” one fan shared.
Last month, Reggie told her followers that her son was not doing well.
Reggie posted a photo of Lucas sleeping on a couch and said she hoped he didn’t end up in the hospital again.
She wrote, “Well it’s Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month and it’s ironic that Lucas has gone downhill like a ton of bricks.
Lucas also suffers from cystic fibrosis and is often in and out of the hospital
“He hasn’t been sick for so long… he won’t eat because his throat is sore and he’s been sick and sleeping all day.
“My fear has gone through the roof because I hope we don’t end up in the hospital.”
The reality star, who also has a daughter named Mia, 15, has shared the reality of having a child with a chronic illness for Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month.
Reggie, who won Big Brother Australia in 2003 and 2022, received a plethora of supportive comments from her friends and followers, who wished her and Lucas well.
One person said, ‘Amiga, let me know if there’s anything I can do to help. Luke sending healing vibrations.”

While another wrote, “Sending love and healing thoughts to all of you…I can’t imagine what you must be going through, so I hope I can help, big or small.”
And a third commented, “I can’t imagine how hard this would be as a mother, both emotionally and physically. You are a pillar of strength to your family Reggie.”
Cystic fibrosis is a hereditary condition that damages the lungs and digestive system and has no cure.
Sufferers of the disease develop “excessively thick and sticky mucus in the lungs, airways and digestive system” that causes various problems for their bodies.

Reggie’s son Lucas was diagnosed with the life-threatening condition when he was just four weeks old.
Speaking on the No Filter podcast last year, the reality star admitted she was afraid of having another child in case they were born with the disease.
The mother-of-two also has health issues of her own – she was declared legally blind after battling an eye condition for 12 years.
At age 29, she was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa and told she would eventually lose her sight.
“I’ve lost my peripheral vision and I have 10 degrees of central vision left. I have no night vision,” she told Channel 7’s The Daily Edition.
