You may remember him as the handsome housemate who took the Big Brother crown in 2020, but now Chad Hurst is flexing his muscles in a whole new arena.

Nearly three years after emerging victorious on the Channel Seven reality show, the Australian heartthrob has swapped his diary rooms for dumbbells.

Together with friend Samer Trebincevic, Chad recently opened the doors to his Air Locker gym in North Sydney.

Speaking about his new venture, he told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Lifting weights with my friends at school got me hooked on fitness. That love led me to become a certified trainer in 2011.’

He continued, “A good friend introduced me to Air Locker, and after delving into the brand, Sam and I were totally impressed. The fierce passion behind the brand sealed the deal.”

Air Locker training is the latest exercise craze to take over the Australian fitness scene.

Reported benefits include up to 30% increased fat loss, ideal for soft tissue repair, and a huge boost in serotonin.

Hurst previously worked as a personal trainer at celebrity hotspot ACERO before deciding it was time to follow his dreams and run his own business.

Chad, who is signed to modeling agency IMG, previously expressed his gratitude for the opportunities modeling offers in an interview with Daily Mail Australia.

‘Life in the fashion world has always been an amazing ride for me. For the opportunities and adventures it has given me, I will always be grateful,” he said.
