Big Brother viewers SLAM ‘vile and dismissive’ Kerry for branding Matty ‘sensitive’ over his historic relationship with food – after being reprimanded for gay slur
Big Brother viewers were furious with housemate Carrie after she confronted Matty for talking behind his back on Thursday.
The 40-year-old, who has previously been reprimanded for using a gay slur, was said to have ‘sacked’ and ‘trampled’ a 24-year-old doctor who alluded to his historic relationship with food – despite her senior role in the NHS.
Joining her at the dining room table, Matty said, “Zach was telling me about the conversation involving you and Olivia, about my food consumption.”
‘You said, “Oh, do you notice how much Matty eats?”‘.
Although Carey was quick to point out that Zach also had a lot to say on the subject, Matty continued, “But you have to understand how important your words can be because you might not understand everyone’s history with certain things like that.”

Furious: The NHS worker, 40, who was previously reprimanded for using a gay slur, said he “rejects” the 24-year-old doctor’s historic relationship with food after he commented on the amount he ate – despite her high-profile role in the NHS (mother in picture)
Carey chimed in, “I’m not going to stop talking to people and I don’t feel like I always have to approach them and tell them what I’m saying.
Matti retorted: ‘I don’t think you hear what I’m saying.’
Only for her to reply, ‘I hear what you’re saying, but I think you’re much more concerned with this and what it is.’
“I don’t have a problem with what you eat, I honestly think you’re very sensitive about it.” And I’m sorry you feel that way.’
While Matty said he felt like his feelings were ‘dismissed’, Carrie tried to smooth the tensions with a hug, which was awkwardly rejected.
Viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, in their droves, with one writing: “Kerry shutting down Matty makes me so uncomfortable. As someone in recovery, if someone said the words “she eats too much” about me, I would recoil in horror. She claims to be a senior NHS England staff but told him he was just being sensitive? Despicable behavior’.
Another said: “For an NHS worker Kerry has the least sympathy of anyone I’ve seen. It’s obvious that Matti was hinting at Eastern disorders and being so dismissive of them, calling him sensitive and blaming it on Zach, shows her true colors.
The Conversation: Despite Kerry being quick to point out that Zach had a lot to say on the subject, Matty continued: “But you have to understand how important your words can be because you might not understand everyone’s history with certain things like that.”

Another typed: “Carrie literally fires Matty when he alludes to having an ED (eating disorder) when Big Brother is going to evict this woman.”
And: ‘Ummmm Kerri, YOU’RE THE ONE WHINING ABOUT MATT! You’re in the Big Brother house, you can’t expect your backstabbing to stay with you.
Someone else said: “Lol Big Brother is even making clips to prove Zach isn’t lying about Olivia and Carrie messing around over Matty.
And: ‘Matti rejects Carrie’s hug. Matti is in my books!’.
It comes after Big Brother hauled Kerry in for swearing in the house.
During Monday night’s live broadcast, she shocked viewers when she used the word “gay” in an offensive manner.
A spokesperson for the show has now revealed that Carey has been confronted about her language and has apologized for causing offence.
They told MailOnline: ‘Carrie is brought into the diary room to discuss her inappropriate use of language.
“Big Brother reminded Carrie of her respect and inclusion training before entering the House and the consequences of any further use of offensive language.”

Fans slammed Carrey for using the “horrible, outdated” comment after her co-stars pranked her.
Divided into two teams, the housemates competed in various tasks throughout the day, giving them the chance to become VIP glampers and win a more luxurious camping experience.
Carrie secured her spot in the VIP area during the shopping task, but her fellow contestants decided to hide her mattress.
Joking Olivia and Jenkin told Kerry that fans at home voted for one housemate to lose their luxury bed.
Expressing anger at the situation, she complained to her colleagues and exclaimed: ‘Well this is gay.’
