Big Brother runner-up Marcello Spooks reveals he’s already reunited with ‘little brother’ Junior Andre after their surprise friendship was revealed

Big Brother runner-up Marcello Spooks has revealed he has already reunited with his good friend Junior Andre, after the aspiring rapper urged his fans to vote for him.

The 34-year-old youth worker finished second behind winner Ali Bromley in Friday’s final and had previously worked with Junior on his budding music career.

Speaking to MailOnline about his time on the ITV show, Marcello said Junior is ‘the best thing he has acquired’ during his music career, with Peter Andre’s son previously posting on social media asking his followers to tune in to vote.

He said, ‘I’ve already seen him! He came to my house, spent the night with me, Junior is my brother and husband for life. I will always say that of everything I’ve done in music, he’s the best thing I’ve ever gotten from it.

“He’s my little brother, I love him dearly.”

Marcello has previously collaborated with Junior on his budding music career and even appeared in one of his Instagram photos in 2022.

Junior, the son of model Katie Price and singer Peter Andre, simply captioned the post: “My brother.”

His website also states that Junior first met Marcello while visiting Rebel Studios in London, and co-wrote his debut single Only One in 2023.

The song is said to reflect on a particular relationship where “even the negatives became positive.”

Marcello also opened up about the horrific trolling he has faced since leaving the Big Brother house, revealing on Instagram on Monday that he has received “death threats” after being accused of being “a misogynist and homophobe.”

Asked about his decision to speak out about the abuse, Marcello, who clashed several times with housemate Ali, said his views are “fundamentally based on love.”

He said: ‘I just wanted to get to the first week, let alone come second, so I think the love I’ve received has been mental, so I’ve never had that in my life and so many messages.

‘But there is a lot of negativity among the messages and that’s not what I’m worried about. I just feel like sometimes people have confused me for no reason because I really show love to everyone and what not.

‘I don’t judge anyone. I don’t even look at people to say something bad about them, I give everyone the space and platform to be themselves and embrace them to that standard.

“I just wanted to clear the air because there’s a lot of things going around about me and there’s a lot of names, and I felt like I wanted people to know that where I stand and that my views on people and life are fundamentally based on Love.

‘So yeah, it’s very strange to come out, I’m still processing it all, to also come second. I must have done something right in there and I guess I’m just trying to figure out what I did right because I don’t know yet.”

After his song True Colors was played in the Big Brother house as a reward for his secret mission, Marcello said another song is already in the works.

He added that he’s already “halfway through” rewatching the series, now that it’s reached the show’s much-talked-about Halloween week.
