Follow the MailOnline liveblog here for all the updates on the first episode of Big Brother as it returns for 2023 series.
It’s time for another party game!
Now it’s the turn of all the housemates to transfer the plot.
And the drama had already begun when Jenkin’s suitcase blew up after being voted the housemate with the worst dressing sense.
There could already be tension between Jenkin and Olivia, as he found her the hardest to live with!
It goes in with a bang
Fans went wild for Keri’s entrance!
Housemate 16: Kerri
Kerry is a 40-year-old NHS manager from Essex.
Carrie’s stunning entrance arrived on a mobility scooter as she admitted she doesn’t let multiple sclerosis stop her from doing anything.
Carrie also admitted that she cried when she found out the show was coming back!
‘When I saw that he was coming back and looking for the right people from all walks of life, I thought, this is my year.’
Housemate 15: Olivia
Olivia is a 23 year old dancer from Glasgow.
She is the eldest of three sisters and has confessed to being the ‘princess’ of the house, will her reign continue on Big Brother?
Olivia is loud, confident and annoying, but if you want to scare her, give her some jam, that’s her biggest fear.
Two more to go!
It may seem like the contestants will never end, but we only have two more!
Housemate 14: Henry
Henry is a 25-year-old food writer from the Cotswolds.
The former boarding school student brings some class to the house with his velvet suit and Michelin star taste.
He admitted: “When I was seven, I asked my parents to take me to a two-Michelin-starred restaurant for my birthday – they’d never even heard of it!”
Housemate 13: Pavle
Paul is a 23 year old security office from Liverpool.
Doing it for the Scousers, Paul found that he puss with the door open, hopefully his housemates will get used to it!
He admitted that he would probably be the biggest fan and eat all the food and be the loudest housemate.
Sounds like Paul might cause some drama!
Housemate 12: Matti
Matti is a 24-year-old doctor from the Isle of Man.
However, in addition to being a doctor, he is also a massage therapist, will he treat one of his housemates to a little relaxation when the stress in the house becomes too much?
He said his family and friends would describe him as ‘Someone who is kind and funny and doesn’t take life too seriously’ – sounds like a perfect fit for the house!
Housemate 11: Noki
Noki is a 26-year-old banker from Derby.
However, she is no stranger to the limelight after representing Great Britain at the Miss Universe pageant.
Noki is a passionate baker who will surely go down well with the family!
We’re halfway to a full house!
You can say that again…
Housemate 10: Dylan
Dylan is a 39 year old DJ from Coventry.
It looks like Dylan will be bringing the tunes to the house as he has admitted that he is a loud and musical person who loves to sing a lot!
‘Maybe I’m a bit over the top for some people, but we’ll see,’ – we’ll see indeed!
Housemate 9: Channelle
Chanelle is a 29-year-old dental therapist from Llanelli, Wales.
Jenkin already has a Welsh ally!
She signed up as a joke, but now it’s all become very real and she’s in the Big Brother house ready to meet a whole new bunch of friends.
Channelle may have a first-class degree, but she admitted she doesn’t have common sense: “I’m quite book-smart, but I don’t have common sense, so when I tell people I got first-class honors, they’re like, ‘Did you pay someone for that?’
Housemate 8: Zak
Zak is a 28-year-old model from Manchester.
He might seem like he would be more suited to Love Island, but Zak revealed that he never wanted to do a dating show and just wanted to be a part of a show where he could showcase his personality.
His dream celebrity housemates would be Seth Rogen, Mike Tison, and maybe even Nicole Scherzinger.
Housemate 7: Jordan
Jordan is a 25-year-old solicitor from Scunthorpe… but he doesn’t sound like it.
The lawyer decided he liked the accents from Downtown Abbey and then taught himself to speak like the upper class characters!
‘I love floral shirts, as viewers will see’ – we love fashionistas!
Housemate 6: Iinrun
Yinrun is a 25 year old customer service agent from Harrogate.
She admitted: “I snore during the night, so it might be annoying, but I don’t snore loudly. My friend recorded it for me once and it sounded like bubbles.’
Oh no?! Sounds like the housemates wouldn’t love share a room with her!
It’s time to party!
The party is already heating up with some Kylie Minogue and music statues.
And Jenkin and Tom are already eliminated by Big Brother himself!
Viewers are liking the contestants so far
The show is back to its original format and welcomes normal people into the house.
Housemate #5: Trish
Trish is a 33 year old mum from Luton.
She hates the Tories and is argumentative, we can’t wait!
Her family would describe her as: “Responsibly crazy. Definitely confident’ just what we need in the Big Brother house!
It looks like fans are happy to have the show back in their living rooms
Anyone else looking like this tonight?
Housemate #4: Hallie
Hallie is an 18-year-old youth worker from London.
She may be young, but she says she’s a bit of a diva and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
“I’m quite confident, I like to speak my mind and not many people like that.” I am quite real.’
Well, if there’s one place you’ll be exposed for not being real, it’s the 24-hour Big Brother house!
Housemate #3: Tom
Tom is a 21-year-old butcher from Somerset who says his “mouth moves faster than my brain”.
Sounds like he could definitely bring some drama to this year’s series!
‘I think I could potentially offend some people’ – Could he be the next Nasty Nick?
Housemate number two: Farida
Farida is a 50-year-old make-up artist from Wolverhampton and she came in with battle stories.
‘People will nominate me because they feel intimidated by the fact that I have the potential to win, it’s as simple as that.’
She is confident, but will the house be what she expects?
Housemate Number One: Jenkin
The first housemate has been revealed!
Jenkin is a barman from Bridgend, Wales.
The Welshman couldn’t believe he was the first in the house and it looks like he was blown away by the house.
He’s fluent in Welsh and rapping Cardi B’s album cover to cover, what’s not to love, looks like there won’t be a quiet moment in the house!
Big brother sees everything!
It’s finally time, the house is empty for now, but who will be the first housemate?
Not long, but who is the man behind the legendary voice of Big Brother?
He voiced every series of Big Brother and therefore became an integral part of the experience.
What do we know so far?

Everything is colorful and brand new, from the hot tub to the bright kitchen and newly added love nest for those romantic moments.
