Big Brother hits new ratings low… with Seven Network bomb bumped to later time slot after disastrous start
Big Brother was a disastrous flop for Seven in the ratings on Wednesday.
The once ‘must watch’ reality hit scored a dismal 211,000 viewers in the metro centres.
And now an industry blog TV black box reports that Seven has moved the show from 7.30pm to the 8.30pm time slot from Monday to Wednesday.
The new schedule will take effect from November 13, with a triple episode of Home and Away at 7pm.
Highway Patrol and A Year on Planet Earth will fill Big Brother’s spot in the schedule on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

Seven’s decision appears to be an attempt to save the Big Brother franchise after the show’s poor ratings this week.
The premiere, which debuted Monday before just 274,000 fans at major centers, was down a whopping 44 percent from the 2022 season opener.
The show continued to gain viewership on Tuesday, gaining just 213,000 fans in the capitals.
Meanwhile, long-running soap Home Away gave Seven something to laugh about overnight in prime time.
The fan favorite was the 10th most-watched show overall on Wednesday, after scoring a solid metro rating of 460,000.
Hard Quiz, on the ABC, was the biggest overnight entertainment show in prime time.
The comedy panel show scored. 486,000 fans in the metro ratings. The ABC also had a strong win with their new panel comedy Question Everything.

Ratings-starved Channel 10, meanwhile, had scored a win with The Amazing Race Celebrity.
The travel competition brought in 447,000 viewers for the network in the capitals.
Channel Nine won the evening overall with a 27.4 percent audience share, while Seven came in second with 24.7 percent of available viewers.
ABC came a close third with 21.1 percent of the audience, while Channel 10 ended the evening in fourth place with 19.1 percent.
