Former England international Lyth, 35, appears in the BBL for the first time, alongside Eskinazi, who grew up in Western Australia before joining England.

Eskinazi, who has averaged 40 in the Vitality Blast over the past three seasons, scored four hundred in the 2022 Royal London Cup after being shockingly overlooked in the Hundred.

The pair join Sussex fast bowler Tymal Mills in Australia’s most successful T20 squad.
