Biden’s media bloodbath: How the liberal media finally knifed the ailing president after shielding him for four years

The US media has spoken out about Joe Biden’s disastrous presidential debate, joining growing calls for his resignation.

Biden will discuss the future of his reelection campaign this weekend, amid the fallout from Thursday’s trainwreck debate. But if the liberal media finally caves in to the 81-year-old president, his options may be limited.

Polls show even fewer voters believe Biden is prepared for another four years in the White House after witnessing his mental and physical condition appear to be deteriorating.

Liberal media giants have added fuel to the fire by making bombastic demands for the commander-in-chief, asking him to finally throw in the towel and quit the presidential race.

Major media outlets have called on Joe Biden to resign after his performance in the car crash debate

TIME Magazine published a striking cover for its August issue, showing the president appearing to walk off the page, with the word “Panic” as the headline.

The magazine reported Democratic Party leaders were in a state of disarray as they watched the debate unfold.

“Biden seemed every bit the 81-year-old grandfather he is, stammering in a thin voice through unintelligible arguments and often staring blankly, open-mouthed, as Trump unleashed one verbal attack after another,” wrote TIME senior correspondent Philip Elliott .

“Biden repeatedly froze and even messed up some standing rules he had prepared in advance.

“Panic is not too strong a word to describe the sentiment that coursed through the Democratic Party from top to bottom as the debate unfolded.”

The Washington Post editorial board also took Biden under scrutiny, asking him whether continuing the race for the sake of his own pride was worth the damage it could do to the country.

The Washington Post editorial board asked Biden to do some

The Washington Post editorial board asked Biden after the debate to do some “soul searching.”

“If President Biden had weekend plans, he should cancel them in favor of some soul-searching,” the editors wrote.

‘His disastrous performance during Thursday’s debate raises legitimate questions about whether he can handle another four years of the world’s toughest job.

“It is the job of this candidate, in consultation with his family and associates, to determine whether it is in the interest of the country to stand for re-election.”

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe program, one of the president’s favorite shows, host Joe Scarborough gently urged Biden to step aside on Friday.

“He spent much of the night with his mouth open and his eyes darting back and forth,” the anchor said.

“He couldn’t check anything Donald Trump said. He missed one layup after another.

“The question is, though: Despite my belief that Joe Biden has had an extremely successful first term, is it time for him to step down?”

In Georgia, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution published a shocking front-page ultimatum asking Biden to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race after his “painful” debate debacle.

The editors wrote that “retirement is now necessary” for the 81-year-old incumbent president and asked him to pass the torch to a more competent candidate.

“The unfortunate truth is that Biden must withdraw from the race, for the good of the nation he has served so admirably for half a century,” the editorial board said in an op-ed that appeared on the front page of Georgia’s largest newspaper on Saturday.

“This wasn’t a bad night; it was confirmation of the worst fears of some of Biden’s most ardent supporters — that age is finally catching up with him after 36 years in the U.S. Senate, another eight as vice president and a term in the White House.”

The New York Times Editorial Board has demanded that Biden withdraw from the race for the White House.

In a scathing op-ed, the council argued that Biden appeared to be a “shadow” of himself and that the argument that he was the best Democratic candidate to take on Trump was no longer valid.

Unable to ignore the president’s actions, the publication put it bluntly: “Mr. Biden cannot continue this race.”
