Biden wishes House Republicans ‘lots of luck’ on their impeachment inquiry as the president STILL hasn’t reacted to son Hunter’s indictment

President Joe Biden wished House Republicans “good luck” with their impeachment inquiry and taunted his political opposition as he returned to the White House on Sunday.

The president spent the weekend in Wilmington, Delaware, where he continued to ignore questions about son Hunter’s charges — and lured an armed protester near his residence.

Biden ignored a loud question about whether he would pardon Hunter as he left church Saturday evening.

The president did not answer the same question when asked this Friday after discussing the ongoing United Auto Workers strike.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said later Friday that the president would not pardon his son.

‘I’ve answered this question before and I was very clear. I said no,” she said during the briefing.

Hunter Biden is facing three federal charges, carrying a prison term of up to 25 years, in connection with his purchase of a gun — which was allegedly on the form to purchase the gun while he was addicted to drugs.

But it is the first son’s foreign business dealings that prompted Tuesday’s announcement that Republicans in the House of Representatives would open an impeachment inquiry.

Although President Biden has denied involvement in Hunter’s business deals in Ukraine and China, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy stated otherwise.

“Republicans in the House of Representatives have uncovered serious and credible allegations about President Biden’s conduct,” he said from the Capitol on Tuesday. “Taken together, these allegations paint a picture of a culture of corruption.”

“These are allegations of abuse of power, obstruction and corruption. And they warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives. That is why today I am directing our committee in the House of Representatives to open a formal investigation into the impeachment of President Joe Biden,” McCarthy noted.

“This logical next step will give our committees full power to gather all the facts and answers for the American public. That is exactly what we want to know the answers to,” the Speaker of the House of Representatives added.

Republicans have accused Biden and his family of making millions from shell companies that Hunter Biden founded when his father was vice president.

Hunter had business deals with an energy company in Ukraine, acquired a stake in a private equity firm in China, and consulted for a Romanian real estate magnate.

The president has denied any involvement in his son’s business activities. But Republicans allege that at least a dozen Biden family members could be involved in a scheme to benefit financially from Biden’s public office.

House investigators are expected to issue subpoenas for the banking records of the president and his family.

Republican lawmakers also claim that Biden had at least 24 conversations with Hunter’s business associates and was referred to as “the big guy” by Hunter’s business associates.

And they say Joe Biden used pseudonyms to discuss his activities regarding Ukraine with his son Hunter during his time as vice president.

An investigation is the first step in the impeachment process.

It is when evidence is gathered for the articles or charges of impeachment against an official.

It’s a huge step with many pitfalls, including angering Republican moderates and many Republican senators, who are skeptical of the issue and causing friction with the White House as budget negotiations are underway.

Congress faces a September 30 deadline to fund the government or it will shut down.

However, McCarthy is under intense pressure from the conservative wing of his party to take such a step, including threats from some of his own Republican lawmakers to remove him from the presidency.

The White House has repeatedly denied that Biden committed any wrongdoing. The president himself has said he was not involved in Hunter’s business deals.

However, some of Hunter’s former associates have testified that Joe Biden spoke with Hunter’s business associates, but the president’s defenders say the conversation was brief and purely cordial, and that there was no dealmaking involved.

Joe Biden also used several private email addresses from which he sometimes sent, received and forwarded government correspondence, according to emails found on Hunter Biden’s now infamous laptop.

‘Robin Ware’, ‘Robert L. Peters’ and ‘JRB ware’ were three pseudonyms used in emails regarding both official and family matters.

The White House says it is common for public figures to use false names.

McCarthy accused Biden of being involved.

“Eyewitnesses have stated that the president made multiple phone calls and had multiple interactions and dinners, which resulted in cars and millions of dollars in his and his son’s business partners,” he said.

It is estimated that Hunter raked in $40 million through 20 shell companies and fake accounts created while Joe Biden was vice president, while the elder Biden simultaneously participated in Hunter’s business calls and dropped by lavish dinners.

The White House called McCarthy’s move “extreme politics.”

House Republicans have been investigating the president for nine months and have found no evidence of wrongdoing. His own Republican members have said so. He promised to hold a vote to open impeachment proceedings, but now he went bankrupt because he didn’t get support. This is extreme politics at its worst,” White House spokesman for oversight and investigations Ian Sams said in a statement.
