President Joe Biden sparked concern Monday night when he appeared to freeze for a minute during a lively Juneteenth celebration at the White House.

At the event ahead of next week’s National Day, the commander-in-chief appeared to short-circuit as the rest of the crowd, including Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gen. Doug Emhoff, joined in the lively band.

Philonise Floyd, the brother of the late George Floyd, flanked Biden to his left and eventually noticed the disturbing pause he was taking and put his arm around him in an apparent attempt to help.

Last week, The Wall Street Journal published a bombshell report on Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, which has reportedly become apparent to dozens of senior officials in recent months.

More than 45 Republican and Democratic lawmakers and staffers offered insight on the topic, citing recent mistakes they found by the commander in chief.

While the White House insists the 81-year-old is still a top leader, the dozens who spoke said The Wall Street Journal disagreed – describing a president who speaks so softly these days that some struggle to even understand what he is saying.

Others pointed to the commander-in-chief’s declining grasp of key policy details, and increasing reliance on notes and improvised offers from aides.

Several people said Biden’s stance was changing by the day — as the White House reportedly went to great lengths to monitor what Democrats were saying. The report, titled “Behind Closed Doors, Biden Shows Signs of Slipping,” was released Tuesday.

“You couldn’t be there and not feel uncomfortable,” an anonymous source said of a meeting with Biden during critical negotiations over Congress’ funding for Ukraine aid in January, where the president moved so slowly it took him about ten minutes to greet the president. nearly two dozen top leaders convened.

The meeting didn’t start until the president was ready, several attendees told the newspaper — before describing the ensuing discussion aimed at securing more congressional funding.

At that point, Biden, the oldest US president ever, began reading from his notes, making broad remarks about the need to give money to Ukraine.

This seemed strange to many, sources said – as lawmakers were more than familiar with the fact that money was needed. Some said they also had trouble hearing him as officials in Ukraine desperately begged the U.S. for ammunition.

Biden also postponed most conversations with other lawmakers, some said — to the point where he was not involved in most of the conversations.

When questions were asked directly to him, he turned to the staffers, they all said, describing just the first alarming sign they’ve seen this year.

In another instance that month that was not mentioned by the Journal, Biden mixed up the names of two of his Spanish-speaking Cabinet secretaries, leading to more speculation about his mental capabilities.

Within weeks, he publicly forgot the names of the widow of Russian dissident Alexei Navalny and a German chancellor who died in 2017, while also confusing the leaders of far-flung Egypt and Mexico.
