‘I have no comment on Trump’: Biden REFUSES to answer multiple questions about ex-president’s impeachment

President Joe Biden declined to comment on the impeachment of Donald Trump on Friday.
“I don’t have any comment on Trump,” he told reporters at the White House as he and Jill Biden headed to Mississippi to tour the damage caused by a deadly tornado.
The president refused to talk about his predecessor despite being asked multiple times. He also did not acknowledge questions about whether he was concerned about the protesters or the violence in the wake of the indictment.
The White House has consistently refused to comment on any of Trump’s cases, adopting a strategy of simply staying quiet and out of the way as the legal process progresses.

Biden was asked four times about Trump’s landmark accusation but repeatedly refused to answer.

“I have no comment on that,” the president said.
Another reporter asked if he was concerned about the protesters in the wake of the accusation.
‘No. I’m not going to talk about the impeachment of Trump,” Biden said.
And when asked what the impeachment said about the rule of law, the president replied: “I have no comment at all.”
Another reporter tried to ask if the charges were politically motivated.
“I have no comment on Trump,” Biden said.
Then he walked over to Marine One, which was waiting on the South Lawn with the first lady already on board.
A Manhattan grand jury indicted the former president Thursday on charges related to a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels. The exact charges have yet to be revealed, but reports indicate there are more than 30 charges.
Trump, 76, will be arraigned in Manhattan at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. He denied doing anything wrong.
He previously called protests amid reports that an impeachment was in the works. He has warned of “death and destruction” if he is charged.
The former president has also repeatedly attacked the judicial system and claimed to be a victim of its weaponization, a line of attack echoed by many of his Republican supporters.
He continued with that argument after news of his impeachment dropped, arguing that it will backfire on Biden.
“I think this witch hunt will backfire on Joe Biden,” he said in a statement Thursday night. ‘The American people realize exactly what the radical left Democrats are doing here. Everyone can see it.
Trump is leading the polls to be the Republican nominee in next year’s presidential race. A new poll conducted Thursday showed he was gaining support as Republican voters warmed to him.

Trump’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, said the former president will not be handcuffed Tuesday when he is arraigned in midtown Manhattan.

Biden, meanwhile, will survey the tornado damage during his trip to Mississippi. He and Jill Biden will meet with homeowners and first responders. And they will also receive information from federal and state officials.
The death toll was 21 people. The storm also destroyed approximately 300 homes and businesses.
The Bidens will then spend the weekend at their home in Wilmington, Delaware. The president will visit Minnesota on Monday.
