President Joe Biden’s campaign has arranged for two of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities – Julia Roberts and George Clooney – to appear at a fundraiser in Los Angeles next month.
NBC News reported this on Sunday that Clooney and Roberts will join former President Barack Obama at a donor event on the West Coast in the coming weeks, while Bill and Hillary Clinton will headline a similar event on the East Coast in early summer.

When donations to the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee were included, the Democratic advantage was $131 million instead of $67 million.
But after Biden’s Radio City Music Hall fundraiser, Trump decided to combine it with his own expensive fundraiser at billionaire investor John Paulson’s Palm Beach home.
Although it lacked the star power of the ex-presidents, the Trump campaign said it essentially doubled what the Biden campaign earned — which would reportedly bring in $50.5 million to the campaign’s coffers.
That number is not yet supported by Federal Election Commission filings, which have a mid-July deadline.
