President Biden orders airstrikes on two facilities in Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Sunday.
The strikes, carried out by Air Force F-15E fighter jets, are the latest retaliation strikes for the daily barrage of missile attacks on US forces in Iraq and Syria.
The US jets hit buildings in Abu Kamal and a safe house in Mayadin, used for the storage of weapons and ammunition and for command and control headquarters.
The attacks come four days after US warplanes struck an ammunition depot in eastern Syria.
