Biden mocks Trump ‘old and out of shape’ for his golf tournament wins as he laughs with Obama, Clinton and Stephen Colbert over $25 million fundraiser hammered by protesters, while the Donald mourns the family of slain NYPD agent

President Joe Biden swings at Donald Trump’s golf match and physical fitness during remarks at a glitzy fundraiser with Stephen Colbert in New York Thursday.

The 81-year-old Biden, himself a frustrated golfer on a training regimen, alternated between mocking his predecessor and declaring him a threat to the nation during a conversation with the “Late Show” host along with the former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

Colbert cracked a joke about his own busy political travels, even as Trump’as far as we can tell, he just tried to win a third championship on his own golf course.”

“My question to you, sir, is: Can voters trust a presidential candidate who has not won a single Trump International Golf Club trophy? Finally, sir, don’t you have a chip shot?’

“Look, I’d like to play,” Biden played along. “I told him this once before when he came into the Oval before he was sworn in. I said, ‘I’ll give you three strokes, but you carry your own bag.’ I’ve only played 21 holes since I’ve been president.”

The latter claim could not immediately be verified. It came after Trump was ridiculed online for claiming he had won two golf trophies at his club in West Palm Beach.

Trump, whose real estate empire includes a number of golf courses, is seen using a golf cart, and has even been spotted driving on the green.

The jokes about Trump’s golfing skills and age came in a race in which Biden’s age has become a major issue in his re-election.

Biden criticized Trump several times during the event, at times leaving it to Obama and Clinton to highlight his own record on ethics, the economy and job creation.

Biden, who has focused more on Trump since each man effectively secured his party’s nomination and is struggling in the polls, also took a dig at Trump’s physical fitness.

‘We are at a turning point in history. This man denies that there is global warming. Not only does this man want to repeal Roe v. Wade, which by the way he brags he hasn’t, he also wants to get rid of the ability that anyone anywhere in America ever has to choose. All the things he does are so old. A bit old and out of shape, but still,” he joked.

The banter came in a conversation that also included other jokes, such as Biden saying he doesn’t “sit by the door” on Air Force One, during an event that raised $25 million and drew multiple interruptions by protesters.

It came on the same day as Trump traveled to Long Island to meet with grieving family members at a vigil for slain NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, who was killed in the line of duty. He was shot and killed in Queens during a routine traffic stop stopped Monday and gruesome surveillance footage captured the moment.

Trump, 77, surrounded himself with law enforcement and said the nation needs to “get stronger and tougher so this doesn’t keep happening.”

At the Radio City Music Hall event, Biden also had a chance to defend his age when Colbert asked if he was “too experienced for the job.”

“Well, I don’t know about seasoned people, but I hope they’re not too old in ideas. You know, this last guy I ran into and am running into again this time, his ideas come from the 18th and 19th centuries. No, I am serious. This is the way he talks when he says he is going to suspend the Constitution and everything he has said,” he said.

Clinton, 77, who was the 42nd president but is younger than the 46th, tried a similar line.

‘I’ll tell you what old is. What is old is the United States of America. We are the longest-lasting free democracy in the history of the world,” he said at the event.
