Biden leads Trump 52 to 40 in a new one CNN/University of New Hampshire poll, a healthy lead in a survey in which 8 percent say they are still undecided.

The survey reflects deep doubts about Trump among the broader New Hampshire electorate, even as he holds a huge lead over his divided rivals in the Republican primaries.

Overall, 62 percent of New Hampshire residents say they would be dissatisfied if Trump were to take back the White House, while 56 percent say they would be angry about it.

Biden faces a tricky political situation in the state due to the Democratic National Committee’s new primary calendar, which puts South Carolina ahead despite New Hampshire’s long struggle to maintain its first-in-the-nation status.

If the state flouts DNC rules and steps up the fight, it could lead to Biden taking his name off the ballot. But the step of the event might not hurt him.

If that were to happen, 69 percent of Biden supporters say they would write in his name.
