Biden donor reveals the ‘grifting’ advisors he blames for the president’s debate disaster and calls for them to be sacked for ‘political malpractice’ as Democrats begin to implode

A major donor to Joe Biden has criticized three of the president’s most trusted advisers following the president’s horror show at the first debate in Atlanta Thursday night.

Tens of millions of Americans watched Biden look weak and raspy on stage at the event with Donald Trump.

The Biden family gathered at Camp David this weekend for a summit to discuss their patriarch’s political future as he continues to slide in the polls.

While the family remains united in its “unequivocal support” for the president — and with his troubled son Hunter doing the most to push for him to stay in the race — others are wondering who the team is that Biden has prepared for the debate.

Another person critical of some of Biden’s trusted advisers is John Morgan, a major Democratic Party donor and ally of Biden’s younger brother Frank.

Morgan called out who he said were “con artists,” including former White House chief of staff Ron Klain, senior White House adviser Anita Dunn and Biden’s personal attorney, Bob Bauer, Dunn’s husband.

“Biden’s advisors failed him,” he wrote on social media, referring to Team Biden’s choice of debate format.

“Format was a disaster for him and a bonus for Trump. He practiced too much and was exhausted… who wouldn’t be,” he added.

He then specifically criticized Dunn and Bauer for misleading the president.

“Biden has been fooled for too long by the worth of Anita Dunn and her husband. They must… go TODAY. The scam is disgusting. It was political malpractice.”

In an interview with the New York Times in which he asked for clarification, Morgan did not mince his words.

“It would be like taking a prizefighter who was going to have a title fight and putting him in a sauna for 15 hours and then saying, ‘Go fight,’” he said.

“I believe the debate is all about Ron Klain, Bob Bauer and Anita Dunn.”

Biden’s family was also reportedly critical of the trio, asking what happened during the debate rehearsals, where Bauer was a stand-in for Trump.

Klain, who was in charge of Biden’s preparations, was questioned about why they “overloaded” Biden with statistics and let Biden start the election “pale.”

However, the sources cited by the Times said Biden himself was not angry with any of them and still trusted the trio.

Despite mounting pressure from Democrats to consider his political future after a car accident during a debate, Joe Biden appears to remain firmly in the race, with Jill Biden remaining stubbornly by his side.

And her actions over the past 48 hours make it clear that she is the one who holds the reins when it comes to her husband’s decision to stay in the race.

Speaking to wealthy donors in New York on Friday night, she made clear she knew how the debate was perceived, but said she had told her husband the campaign would continue.

The CNN appearance where Joe Biden wandered through the answers and lost his train of thought caused unprecedented panic in the party.

Top lawmakers and agents immediately considered their options.

But when Biden attended a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Friday, he seemed like a different person. Jill Biden called it a “great” event.

During the debate, he admitted his performance was less than ideal, but insisted he will remain in the race. The crowd of more than 2,000 people cheered him on.

His defiant announcement came alongside the one person who likely stood between him and a potentially historic decision to step aside: his wife Jill.

Even though she knows he had a bad night at the first presidential debate, she stubbornly stands by her husband’s side and fights back against the fear that he will lose November’s battle to Donald Trump.

The Bidens know that “he didn’t have the best first debate,” a source close to her told DailyMail.com. “Is he the best person to be president now and for the next four years? 100% yes.’

She’s been his wife for 47 years; she’s his biggest supporter, his biggest advocate, and his biggest believer.’

President Biden has already secured the nomination. The only way for the party to get another nominee is if he voluntarily drops out of the race.

However, it appears the president is fighting an uphill battle after Thursday’s debacle.

A poll released Sunday shows that 72 percent of voters do not think Biden has the cognitive capabilities for another term. This is an increase of seven percent from the same poll conducted earlier in June, before the debate.

Former White House physician Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) has repeatedly questioned Biden’s cognitive and physical health.

He suggested that the seven-day preparation for the debate at Camp David was a way to ingest the drug cocktail just before the confrontation with Trump.

Both before and after the debate, doubts arose about Biden’s mental acuity and cognitive health.

Biden stumbled through Thursday’s debate with Trump, often speaking softly, mumbling or losing his train of thought. When Trump spoke, the split screen showed the president with his mouth open and a blank stare.

The outcome led to a series of calls for Biden to end his candidacy, even from some of his strongest supporters.

On the other hand, Trump’s performance during the debate only increased support for his party.

Fifty percent of registered voters believe the 78-year-old has the cognitive abilities to run for a second term in 2024. Only 27 percent think the same about Biden.

It’s unclear what will happen next, but Biden is spending Sunday at Camp David discussing the future of this race with his family.

Some blame First Lady Jill Biden for pushing her husband to continue campaigning for re-election, and Republican Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wy.) accused the first lady of “elder abuse.”
