Biden claims ahead of July 4th that he DID get a medical checkup after disaster debate despite White House saying he didn’t just hours earlier

President Joe Biden will host Fourth of July festivities at the White House on Thursday night, with his and his party’s future hanging in the balance as pressure mounts for him to resign after last week’s debate.

It comes after the first elected Democrats came forward to urge Biden to step back with just weeks to go until his party’s convention in Chicago. Amid anger over the messaging from the White House since Biden stumbled in his debate with Donald Trump in Atlanta, the president reassured governors in a closed-door meeting about his health and political viability – even telling them about a recent check-up that showed he was in good health.

That came shortly after White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dodged direct questions during a heated press conference about whether Biden had been evaluated since Thursday’s debate.

Biden will host veterans’ families, caregivers and survivors at an event that will put him back on the public stage before a pivotal interview with ABC airs Friday. Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to attend.

President Joe Biden admitted he “botched” his performance during last week’s debate with Donald Trump.

In an interview broadcast Thursday morning, he urged a look at his performance over the past three and a half years in office.

Biden told Milwaukee radio host Earl Ingram:

I had a bad night. And the fact is I messed up. I made a mistake. That’s 90 minutes on stage, look what I’ve done in 3.5 years.

Biden’s interview in Milwaukee, the first since his car crash debate, comes as Republicans prepare for their nominating convention in the Wisconsin city later this month.

Trump offers scathing ‘pile of shit’ review of Biden, Harris in leaked golf cart video

As Democrats panic over what to do about Joe Biden, Donald Trump has been captured on video sharing his honest, unvarnished thoughts, revealing that his presidential rival has already secretly resigned.

In a video recorded while Trump was on the golf course, he delivered a blunt assessment of his rival and potential replacement on the ticket, speaking to fellow golfers as his 18-year-old son Barron sat next to him.

He called Biden, 81, an “old, broken-down pile of shit” who is about to “leave the race” in a brash, sometimes profanity-laced tirade in response to bystanders who praised his performance during the debate.

Democratic congressmen are calling for more time to decide whether Joe Biden should be their party’s nominee in November.

Party officials say the virtual selection process for the presidential nomination will take place before Aug. 7, but ordinary voters want to delay it after Biden’s car crash debate, saying a month is not enough time to decide whether he will be the November frontrunner.

A Democratic Party representative in the Northeast told Axios:

We need as much time as possible. We can’t make a decision in two or three weeks.

The Democratic National Convention will take place in Chicago, Illinois from August 19 to 22. At the end of that week, the party will officially announce its nominee for president in 2024.

Gilberto Hinojosa, chairman of the Democratic Party of Texas, said:

We’re still waiting to see what Biden will do. We need to feel like we can win this election. Our national Democratic leaders need to make a decision about what’s ultimately best for America — and this world.

The White House confirmed Thursday that President Biden visited a doctor after his faltering performance during the debate to see if he had a cold that advisers said was the cause of his hoarse voice.

“A few days later, the president was seen to see if he had a cold and he was recovering well,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates told DailyMail.com. There is no indication that he underwent any further extensive tests.

“A neurological scan? … Let’s just step back, it was a bad night,” she said of the debate. Asked again when Biden had last been seen by a doctor, she replied, “I just don’t have anything more than that.”

Politico reported that Biden privately told Democratic governors that he had been seen by a doctor and was in good health. Touch wood for emphasis.

Biden: ‘I had a bad debate’

President Joe Biden admitted to a Philadelphia radio host that he had a “bad debate” last week, but said it was outweighed by what he had accomplished in office.

“I had a bad debate. But 90 minutes on stage doesn’t erase what I’ve done for three and a half years,” he told WURD Radio’s Andrea Lawful-Sanders.

Biden repeated the argument he’s been making ever since his poor debate performance: One bad night can’t erase his record as president.

His interview with WURD lasted just under 15 minutes. After one question in the debate, Lawful-Sanders asked about Biden’s record with black Americans.

The president spoke to black radio hosts in Milwaukee and Philadelphia for his first post-debate interviews.

Biden will sit down with ABC News in Wisconsin on Friday.

Biden ‘considering resigning as early as next week’

Joe Biden has told aides he may step down as the presumptive 2024 presidential candidate, and the reasons for that decision could be announced as early as next week.

Allies who have told aides he could step down as the presumptive 2024 presidential candidate as early as next week — and what might prompt that decision — could derail his re-election bid.

Some examples of this include an interview with ABC on Friday night and campaign visits in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. He also reportedly had a campaign call on Wednesday in which he told his campaign staff, “Nobody’s pushing me out.”

An ally told the New York Times: “He knows if he has two more events like this, [the debate]we are in a different place.’
