President Joe Biden is expected to join forces with former President Barack Obama in Pennsylvania in the final weekend before the midterm elections to close key races in Keystone state.
Axios reported Monday that Obama and Biden will campaign together on Saturday, Nov. 5 in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia for Democratic Senate hopeful John Fetterman and governor candidate Josh Shapiro, three days before voters head to the polls.
Biden has had a much lighter campaign schedule than his predecessors leading up to the midterms, with Democrats sending Obama to key states including Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada starting Friday.
On Monday a new CNN poll Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Fetterman again showed his Republican rival, Dr. Mehmet Oz, to stay ahead after the Senate race turned into a slog in recent weeks.

On Monday, a new CNN poll showed that Pennsylvania’s Democratic Senate hopeful John Fetterman (pictured) is reinstating its Republican rival, Dr. Mehmet Oz, led after Senate race turned into a toss-up in recent weeks
The CNN poll showed Democrat John Fetterman received 51 percent support from Pennsylvania’s likely voters, compared with 45 percent for Republican nominee, Dr. Mehmet Ozu

The poll, conducted Oct. 13-17, found that Fetterman had the support of 51 percent of likely voters, while Oz had the support of 45 percent.
The survey shows that Oz — the TV personality backed by former President Donald Trump — isn’t as loved by Pennsylvania as Fetterman, with only 38 percent of respondents saying they have a favorable opinion of him.
Fetterman, on the other hand, gets a 48 percent favorable rating, while another 46 percent have an unfavorable opinion of the Democrat.
The poll found that 55 percent of likely Pennsylvania voters have an unfavorable view of Oz.
Fifty-one percent of respondents said Oz supports Trump too much, while a smaller percentage, 38 percent, thought so about Fetterman and Biden.
The margin of error for likely voters is plus or minus 4.6 points.
The race has been tightened in recent weeks as Oz has made Fetterman’s health a key point in the race.
Fetterman, 53, suffered a stroke in May from a neglected heart condition and uses captioning technology to conduct interviews.
This was especially highlighted when Fetterman sat down with NBC News earlier this month and TV screens showed how the captioning technology worked, as the lieutenant governor still struggles with “auditory processing.”
Fetterman’s recovery will be fully visible as the candidates take part in their one and only debate Tuesday night in Pennsylvania’s capital Harrisburg.
Biden and Obama will also campaign for Shapiro, who has a healthier lead over his opponent, Trump-backed Republican Doug Mastriano, who led some of the effort to reverse the 2020 Pennsylvania Senate election.
The CNN poll showed Shapiro with 56 percent support, versus Mastriano who had 41 percent.
