Former Biden government nuclear power official Sam Brinton has been arrested for stealing women’s clothing from an airport β again.
Brinton was picked up from their home in Maryland last night and taken to the Montgomery County Detention Center, where they remained overnight and this morning.
The charges relate to an alleged theft of property at Reagan National Airport, which was reported to police in February, after Brinton was arrested in Nevada and Minnesota on similar charges.
It’s unclear exactly when the Reagan Airport theft occurred β and whether it was after Brinton’s December arrest.
Now the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is leveling the grand larceny charges.
Brinton was due to appear before a judge today for an extradition hearing.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority told DailyMail.com: βThe Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department on May 17 executed a search warrant in Montgomery County, Maryland, in connection with allegations of stolen property in luggage from Reagan National Airport that brought to the attention of the department. in February 2023.
“With the help of the Montgomery County Police Department, Samuel Otis Brinton, age 35, of Rockville, Maryland, was taken into custody Wednesday awaiting charges from Grand Larceny.”

The Biden administration had proudly announced the hiring of Brinton, one of the first non-binary LGBTQ hires in the administration.
Their role was to monitor and advise on nuclear waste.
Neighbors told The daily thread cars were coming toward Brinton’s house last night.
Brinton entered a plea deal last month for one of the luggage thefts, but the Minnesota misdemeanor case is still pending.
Initially, Brinton denied taking the bag.

They then called the police back after the woman reported it, admitting to taking the luggage but claiming it was a mistake.
The incident in Minnesota happened last October at St. Paul’s airport.
It was an embarrassing episode for the Bide administration, which had rolled out the red carpet for Brinton and proudly announced the hiring.
Subsequently, Brinton was indicted in Nevada for the second robbery.
