Michael Ball plays George in the musical starring Laura Pitt-Pulford as Rose, Jamie Bogyo as Alex and Danielle de Niese as Giulietta.

Set in devastated post-war France, Aspects of Love follows beautiful actress Rose Vibert as she becomes homeless and destitute after her hoped-for career break ends prematurely.

Invited to a country villa by a young American in love, Alex Dillingham, she impulsively accepts. When Alex’s distinguished uncle George interrupts him unexpectedly, everything changes.

Thus begins a tumultuous 20-year love story, in which the three of them and George’s mistress, the feisty artist Giulietta, become entwined. Everything changes again when Rose’s daughter Jenny turns 18.

From the cobbled streets of Paris, through the French countryside to the splendor of Venice, Aspects of Love is a compelling romantic tale of passion, love, betrayal and heartbreak spanning three generations.

With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Don Black and Charles Hart, based on the novel by David Garnett, Aspects of Love is directed by Jonathan Kent.

Aspects of Love at The Lyric Theater runs through Saturday, November 11, 2023.

It comes after Andrew Lloyd Webber and The Princess of Wales both made cameos in the opening sequence of the Eurovision Song Contest final.

Kate paid a moving tribute to Ukraine as she played the piano in a stunning opening sequence for the grand final at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena.

She appeared virtually from Windsor Castle in a pre-recorded segment, with her appearance on the BBC show being kept a very closely guarded secret.

Kate looked stunning in a blue one-shoulder Jenny Packham dress — matching the Ukrainian flag — as she played the piano in the brief 10-second cameo.

Composer Andrew also made a surprise appearance in the opening scene as he also played the piano and smiled at the camera in another previously filmed clip.
