BGT fans think they’ve discovered Mr Blobby’s identity after Simon Cowell went berserk during audition
Viewers of Britain’s Got Talent think they’ve discovered the identity of ’90s icon Mr Blobby – after he pulled a magic trick that enraged Simon Cowell.
During Saturday’s episode, the infamous misbehaving character showed off his magic tricks — and covered the judge in pink goo.
After performing a card trick, Blobby pulled head judge Simon, 63, onto the stage and placed him in ‘Mr Blobby’s Disappearing Box’.
Simon was seen sitting down before Mr Blobby closed the door, as the crowd cheered.
However, things took a turn for the worse for the music mogul, as when Mr. Blobby was seen closing the door, pink slime poured out and engulfed Simon.

Simon warned, ‘Don’t touch me! Go away!’
While fellow judges Amanda Holden, 52, Alesha Dixon, 44, and Bruno Tonioli, 67, were stunned – viewers guessed who the person behind the costume might be.
“Mr Blobby was absolutely David Walliams #BGT2023 #BritainsGotTalent,” one viewer wrote.
Another added, “Is Mr. Blobby David Walliams in disguise?” #bgt #bgt2023 #BritainsGotTalent.’
Another user wrote: ‘Now take off your Mr Blobby head and reveal yourself David Walliams’ #BGT.’

Eager to get the show’s other stars in on the action, Simon hugged presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in an attempt to cover them in slime as well.
Created by Charlie Adams, a writer on Noel’s House Party, Mr Blobby is a spherical pink figure who only communicates by uttering the word ‘blobby’.
He topped the UK Charts in 1993 with his Christmas hit Mr Blobby and more recently appeared on Dancing on Ice, Loose Women and This Morning.
