The PlayStation Trophies list for Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition has leaked online, suggesting that the remaster of the beloved Gamecube, PS2 and OG Xbox classic could soon become a reality.
Spotted by VGCperformance tracking website Exophase currently has the trophy list for Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition live, and at the time of writing it has not yet been removed. The trophy list is accompanied by artwork, a title, and a description for each trophy, which strongly suggests that the list is most likely legitimate.
There are 35 trophies in total; Earned 16 bronzes, 15 silvers, three golds and of course a platinum trophy by collecting them all. The trophies seem to have a good mix of main story progression, optional challenges, and a handful of fun Easter eggs for players to discover.
Ubisoft has not yet commented on the trophy list, but it matches the List of Xbox achievements which appeared on Exophase last November, along with an Xbox store page that was quickly removed.
However, at the time, Ubisoft surprisingly acknowledged its existence Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition. The publisher’s official X/Twitter account will be released on November 29, 2023 Posted that it was “excited to talk more about this special edition soon…” The post was accompanied by an image of lead actor Jade behind a logo for the remaster. Yep, complete with that groaning ‘A Ubisoft Original’ stamp.
It looks like ‘soon’ could be happening soon, now that both the Xbox achievements and PS5 trophy lists are out in the wild. Although many fans of the series are undoubtedly eager for more information about the vaporware sequel Beyond Good and Evil 2, it’s good to see that Ubisoft hasn’t completely forgotten about the franchise with this upcoming remaster.
