Tina Knowles had an unwanted visitor at her Los Angeles home last week.
Tina, 69 — whose daughter Beyoncé paid tribute to her late cousin, whom the Grammy winner called Uncle Jonny at this year’s awards ceremony — called police after hearing strange noises from the front of her property.
It turned out that on Saturday, April 1, there was a man who threw stones at Tina’s mailbox. TMZ reported.
The fashion designer and celebrity mom shares the house with husband Richard Lawson, 76.
Unwelcome guest: Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, had an unwelcome visitor at her Los Angeles home last week. A man was there on Saturday, April 1, throwing rocks at Tina’s mailbox, TMZ reported. He was arrested by the police and placed in a psychiatric institution
According to the police report, the suspect ran off when officers arrived at the scene.
However, a helicopter hovering over him was able to track the man’s movements and he was quickly captured and taken to jail.
The suspect reportedly behaved erratically and was placed in a mental institution.
No one was injured, and Tina and her husband refused to press charges or press charges.
Beyoncé and her family are preparing for her Renaissance tour that will begin in Stockholm on May 10.
The Halo singer will tour Europe through the end of June and then head to North America to perform through the end of September.
The Break My Soul artist will perform a total of 57 stadium shows.

Beyoncé teamed up with designer Balmain to create a clothing collection inspired by each of the songs on her Renaissance album.
The singer and designer described the process as “liberating,” writing on Instagram, “thank you for letting me celebrate the human form, take artistic risks, push boundaries and express myself freely.”
The looks were put together for a photo in Vogue France.
Beyoncé thanked the magazine for “trusting our vision and sharing it with the world.”
