Beyonce’s Club Renaissance sells out ‘within minutes’

Beyonce has announced Club Renaissance, a two-night event that invites fans to “experience Renaissance in spatial audio” at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles.

The event was advertised Thursday with a yellow flyer that contained few details about the 21+ event.

Unsurprisingly, tickets sold out ‘seemingly within minutes,’ according to Variety.

Presented by Amazon Music, the event is open to fans 21 and older and is scheduled for the nights of December 17 and 18. Doors open at 8:15 p.m. and then 9 p.m.

The invitation did not contain details about the location, which will be released to ticket holders on December 17. Amazon Music made the surprise announcement of the party on Thursday and the tickets disappeared quickly.

However, he did suggest that the party was in commemoration of his seventh studio album, Renaissance.

“Parkwood invites you to experience Renaissance in spatial audio,” reads one hint on the invitation.

The flyer contained a photo of Beyonce from her Renaissance album, showing the singer sitting under a disco ball and cupping her bare chest.

Beyonce last threw a ‘Club Renaissance’ in New York in August. It was a party celebrating the release of her new album.

Beyonce released Renaissance, her seventh studio album containing the hit song Break My Soul, in July 2022.

The album has earned Beyonce nine nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

In putting the album together, she enlisted the help of the likes of Drake, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, Skrillex, and none other than her own husband Jay-Z.

Beyonce previously commented that she hopes the album will be a rejuvenating form of escape for people after the turmoil of 2020.

“With all the isolation and injustice of the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love and laugh again,” he said last year.

“I feel like there’s a renaissance coming up and I want to be a part of fostering that escape in any way possible,” he said in last year’s September issue of Icon. Harper’s Bazaar.

“I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes me a year to personally search through thousands of sounds to find the right kick or snare. A choir can have up to 200 stacked harmonies,” she noted.

Renaissance is Beyonce’s first solo studio album since her groundbreaking 2016 visual album Lemonade, in which she faced questions about her marriage to Jay-Z and their fidelity.

Since Lemonade, he has released a collaborative album with Jay-Z, a live album, and a couple of related soundtrack-related companion pieces for Disney’s photorealistic remake of The Lion King, in which he voiced Nala’s love interest.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been married since 2008 and have welcomed three children into the world: Blue Ivy, 10, and twins Sir and Rumi, five.
