Heartfelt tributes keep pouring in for legendary singer Tina Turner after her death on Wednesday May 24 at the age of 83.
And while Beyoncé previously paid tribute to Turner with some sweethearts and lots of praise on her website, the Queen Bey decided to gather her own fans for a united shout during her tour stop in Saint-Denis, France, a northern suburb of Paris.
“If you’re a fan of mine, then you’re a fan of Tina Turner, because I wouldn’t be on this stage without Tina Turner,” the singer, 41, said during Friday’s concert at the Stade de France, that is an open-air stadium with a capacity of about 80,000.
“I want you to just scream so she can feel your love.” the Crazy In Love star (born Beyoncé Giselle Knowles) went further, in a show of powerful unity.
“I feel so blessed to have witnessed her brilliance,” she added. “I also feel very blessed to be performing here again in Paris after so many years. Thank you for your loyalty.’

While official attendance numbers are yet to be announced, the power of the thousands who joined in was undeniable and began to shout and shout out loud for the tribute.
Before the show, Beyoncé remembered Turner about her website, writing in part, “I am so grateful for your inspiration and all the ways you have paved the way. You are strength and resilience. You are the embodiment of strength and passion.’
Turner (born Anna Mae Bullock), considered a pioneer and icon of popular music, passed away at her home in Küsnacht near Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday at the age of 83 after a long illness.
Since then, a whole host of fans, including many musical stars, from rock to pop, hip-hop and beyond, have shared their love and respect for the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll in tributes from around the world.
“She was my mom’s hero, she was the ultimate superhero to me too,” Kid Cudi wrote on Twitter, as reported by Rolling stone.
Mariah Carey described her as “iconic” and a “superstar” when she shared how those adjectives are “often overused and yet Tina Turner embodies all of them and more.”
While Ciara thanked Turner “for the inspiration you gave us all” in her heartfelt tribute, Angela Bassett shared high praise for her 30 years after portraying her on the big screen in the biopic What’s Love Got To Do With It (1993).
“How do we say goodbye to a woman who owned her pain and trauma and used it as a tool to help change the world?” the two-time Oscar-nominated actress began on her Instagram page.
“Through her courage in telling her story, her dedication to staying on track in her life no matter the sacrifice, and her determination to carve a place in rock and roll for herself and for others who her corpses, Tina Turner showed others who lived in fear what a bright future full of love, compassion and freedom should look like,” she added in part.

TMZ shared how Lizzo got emotional when she honored her on stage in Arizona when she performed one of Turner’s many hit songs, Proud Mary.
John Fogerty, the man who wrote the song for his band Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1969, also took the time during a concert in the United Kingdom to give the Brownsville, Tennessee-born man a wink.
Proud Mary peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for CCR in March 1969.
And then, just two years later, Ike and Tina Turner dropped their version, which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100, while also picking up a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.

Turner’s many other accolades include receiving 12 Grammy Awards, eight competitive awards, three Grammy Hall of Fame awards, and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Tina Turner has sold over 100 million records worldwide and is considered one of the best-selling artists of all time.

The Renaissance World Tour is in support of Beyoncé’s seventh solo studio album, Renaissance (2022), which kicked off May 10 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
The European leg of the tour lasts until her concert at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland on June 28.
After a short break, she will hit the road again in North America on July 8 with a show at the Rogers Center in Toronto, Canada.
The schedule sends the Houston, Texas resident across Canada and the US through September 27.
The Renaissance World Tour is her first solo tour since the Formation World Tour in 2016.
