Billionaire power couple Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) have reportedly decided to keep the $88 million Bel-Air estate they bought in 2017, despite just getting $200 million had thrown for California’s most expensive house in Malibu.
The Houston-born 41-year-old and Brooklyn-born 53-year-old still consider their Bel-Air residence “home” because it’s closer to friends and their three children’s schools, and Malibu will serve as their “weekend home.” until they transition full-time — according to TMZ.
On June 13, Bey and Jay — who also own a $26 million, seven-bedroom mansion in East Hampton — celebrate the sixth birthday of their fraternal twins, son Sir Carter and daughter Rumi Carter.
The married couple of 15 years are also parents to 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who famously won a Grammy Award in 2021 for co-producing Knowles’ Brown Skin Girl music video.
