Her show comes as she marks the 50th anniversary of making fashion history when she became the first black woman to grace the cover of American Vogue in August 1974.
The actress kicked off the weekend with a new show, just a week after revealing she spontaneously tied the knot with Mailllian in Las Vegas on her birthday last year.

During Friday’s show, she posed for photos alongside her longtime partner, her daughter Anansa Sims and her fiancé Matt Barnes.
Next to her, her husband wore a sharp suit with a pinstripe button-down, a black blazer, a vest and slacks.
She also posed with her only child and daughter, 45 — who she shares with her ex-husband, late music producer Danny Sims — as they showcased their coordinating all-black ensembles.
The mother-daughter duo also posed with Sims’ fiancé Barnes for another sweet family snap.
The former NBA player looked sharp in a blue hooded turtleneck layered under a velvet worker jacket and jeans.
Last week, she appeared on SiriusXM’s Sway in the Morning and told the radio show hosts how she and Maillian spontaneously decided to elope after 12 years together.
She recalled that her then-fiancé agreed to her birthday wish to get married with an intimate and spontaneous wedding in Las Vegas.
A week after her revelation, her husband showed his support during her show exploring her groundbreaking and iconic career.

According to the digital program, the show will explore not only her remarkable five-decade modeling career, but also “her unimaginably tumultuous relationships, the truth about Bill Cosby and her involvement in the #MeToo movement.”
She wrote her ‘live autobiography’ together with director Josh Ravetch, about her incredible and iconic modeling career, but also delves into her personal life story.
Beverly Johnson: IN VOGUE will play 59E59 Theaters from January 9 to February 4.
