But Massoni won’t have to rely on the struggling Jets, who are playing their first game under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich after Robert Saleh was fired last week.

Instead, he has the option to cash out and take a guaranteed $36,725.24, or risk it all for a shot at $123,000.

One person suggested that Massoni could make $123,000 regardless of the outcome by hedging

Naturally, X users had some thoughts on this topic.

‘Payout really quickly!’ another added before criticizing struggling Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. “Old man Rodgers ain’t got it.”

But while users were overwhelmingly in favor of Massoni paying out, many were annoyed that he would receive less than $38,000 in return.

“Just pathetic payout value,” one person wrote.

With that disappointing payout amount in mind, others came up with ways to help Massoni hedge his bet.

“Bet the Bills moneyline for $61,553.20,” one bettor suggested, creating a scenario in which Massoni could earn about $123,000 regardless of the outcome. “You’re an idiot if you take their payout.”

However, one naysayer was quick to explain why that might not be a solution.

“Because so many people have $61,000 lying around to cover it,” the man wrote.
