Bethesda unveils mobile fantasy sim The Elder Scrolls: Castles from the team behind Fallout Shelter
Good news for fans of The older roles and mobile gaming. Bethesda Games Studios has unveiled a brand new fantasy sim from the team behind it Fallout shelter.
The Elder Scrolls: Castles lets you rule your own dynasty while the people live their lives year after year. The game was revealed in a tweet from Bethesda Game Studios, which also included plenty of details about what to expect.
“We’re happy to finally share it The Elder Scrolls: Castlesour new mobile game from the team behind it Fallout shelter” the tweet began.
“In Castlesyou build your own dynasty where every day in our world is a year in the game world. Citizens are born, they die, rulers change and can be betrayed. This soft launch is one of the first steps as we get your feedback and make changes before it launches globally.”

The game has already had a soft launch in the Philippines and will be rolled out to “more countries” in the coming months. There is also the option for that Interested players can register in advance so they can be alerted as soon as the game goes down.
But The Elder Scrolls: Castles isn’t Bethesda’s first mobile venture for the series. The collectible card game The Elder Scrolls: Legends released in 2017 to generally positive reception. This was followed by The older roles: knivesa more traditional role-playing game (RPG). Knives currently enjoys a four point six out of five rating on the Apple App Store, which is thanks to its impressive graphics and atmospheric sense of presentation.
Unlike these two titles, The Elder Scrolls: Castles it looks like it will be heavily stylized, just like Fallout shelter. The in-depth world building and environmental storytelling The older roles games are known for the series being ideal for the Fallout shelter therapy.
While we haven’t gotten a concrete launch date yet, we can’t wait to see what exciting stories unfold when the fantasy sim eventually hits app stores worldwide.
