Through his initiative, BStrong, and his Global Empowerment Mission, Frankel has raised more than $100 million.

“It started as a 10, 11 million dollar effort, now we’re unstoppable,” he said. ‘We have big brands donating. We have Americans who are donating five and ten dollar donations. We have never seen constant income of money in this way. We can continue to help people.

‘We can save thousands of refugees from pain and anguish and a different kind of life. We are talking to the orphanages, and we are counting the children, and making sure that the drug trade is completely prevented, obviously,” Frankel added. ‘There are so many things we are thinking about. We have these massive warehouses where people can come and get the help they need. We have set up operating tables, wheelchairs and medical supplies. Some children will need coloring books and toys, and everything can be provided.’

Bethenny told ET in 2022 that she was proud of Maksim: “He’s been talking to a lot of different people. He really wants to sink his teeth in and make an impact,” she shared.

‘He has the error… He is seeing what is happening. He is seeing that he is making a difference and an impact, although he may not be raising money per say, he is raising awareness, which is the real value.

“He’ll see how it makes a difference, getting involved and passionate about it, and how you just can’t not,” Frankel added.

‘It’s a great use of your time. His wife [Peta Murgatroyd] he is very supportive. It’s great that we’ve connected. I’m proud that you see what we’ve done in an extraordinarily short time.

Last year he told Good Morning America that it was his “duty” to return to Poland. He was in the Ukraine when the invasion began, but he left by train.

After that, the Baranova 27 charitable organization began.

“When I finally came home and finally saw Peta and we had that emotional moment, that’s when I realized I had to go back,” he told GMA.

I want opportunities to show my son, me as a man, I want him to be proud of me and maybe this is the chance to show him exactly how to do it. I am super grateful. It’s things like this that change me as a person.
