Bethenny Frankel shares stark relationship warning

Skinnygirl mogul Bethenny Frankel offers her viewers some sage relationship advice, warning them to “never settle,” especially when things don’t feel right.

Frankel, 53, went to TikTok to share her wisdom in a new video posted Friday.

The former Real Housewives of New York star’s guidance comes just years after she was involved in a controversial divorce with ex-husband Jason Hoppy.

The two filed for divorce in 2013, but it was not finalized until 2021.

Frankel was briefly engaged to longtime boyfriend Paul Bernon, whom she met in 2018 but split this year.

In the new video, the BStrong founder explained that there’s one ‘critical’ question you need to ask yourself in a relationship – and that’s whether it’s ‘good’ or ‘great’.

“If you don’t know, it’s no,” Frankel said.

“If you have something in your body that is questioning your relationship, and it’s like, even very good, but not great, then that’s not good enough because you’re not going to settle,” she warned.

Frankel promised that when you find the courage to end a relationship that may not be a good fit for you, you “open yourself up” to finding “the real thing.”

“You’ll thank yourself, you’ll say, I’m so proud of myself for having the courage,” she continued.

“Cause when you jump, you fly, so you ain’t gonna settle,” the former Big Shot With Bethenny star urged TikTok viewers.

She compared the situation to food and explained that we don’t eat average things, but something that is ‘great’ or not at all.

Her philosophy doesn’t just extend to relationships, either.

‘We don’t go out, we don’t work at five o’clock, we either do it or we don’t do it, so that’s how it will be, with work, with life, with friendships, with food, with travel, with whatever , and with relationships,” she said.

“You either go all the way or you don’t go at all,” said the creator of Mingle Mocktails.

“You shoot for the stars and you will get it. Trust the process.”

And in the comments section of her video, many users seemed to agree with her sentiment and shared their own success stories.

‘100 percent. I left my good relationship for something bigger and never looked back. Don’t let them convince you that mediocrity is something you should want,” one person wrote.

Another said: ‘So true. I have friends and people I date who tell me I’m too picky or looking for the wrong thing, but I just feel like I don’t want to settle.”

‘REAL! I left a relationship that I could have comfortably stayed in for a lifetime. I met my husband a year later and he is my soulmate, don’t give up on yourself,” someone else wrote.
